ggs, 1-3. Numbers overcame poor deckbuilding odds and a very RNG-trolly game to beat the green Super-Afro.
Reports in a bit.
Match #1 LOSS
With Numbers' Focused and having to use the same mark, and the Arena reducing his available cards to about 30, it was a given in my mind that he would go with one deck the entire duel. So the first game I went with a deck that had a decent winrate in testing, AdrenaVamps. He went with mostly mono-Darkness with Devourers and Dragons, and flown Vamps with Fogs.

Dragons were the hero (or villain) of this match. Ultimately my adrenalined Vamps couldn't heal the damage he dealth. Pests draining away the
for momentums also had a bit to do with it.
Match #2 LOSS
Decided to go with a "counter" of sorts that I had developed beforehand, expecting that he would focus on flown weapons (which RPs could insta-kill, with 4 HP Fire/Darkness weapons). I also considered throwing in RoFs at the last second but decided not to chance it -- didn't think I could fix the quanta on the fly. It turned out to be a mistake -- his Pests drained away a lot of my early
, he held his Daggers till I was forced to waste RPs on one of his upped Dragons, and the rest was history.

Match #3 WIN
Switched to a Pest-type deck with pretty much the same buffs as my AdrenaVamps did. RNG took pity on my and gave me second-turn 3x Pests, while giving Numbers only one Pillar.

Slow game, and from his comments a really frustrating one for Numbers. It was a really slow one, and I started to fear that his single Vamp Dagger would off me before I got one of two Drain Lifes. Thankfully I got first my Duck Mantle
, then a DL that killed him.
Match #4 LOSS
Went with the same deck to be safe. Unfortunately RNG was not as kind this time. Lack of Life Pends did me in, without the 4x quanta drain Numbers was hardly affected by the denial and got out three Vamp Daggers. The Dragon was probably overkill at this point. xD
