Kakerlake 2 - 3 Shantu
**DISCLAIMER: I am not event organizer, but have had a couple discussions along my path in the EARTH section of this Phase II so I believe it valuable to post here about this. **
The kaker - shantu match didn't need to take place as the mini-tourney is simply to determine two things: who gets an add in bending ability within their own element
and which players are eliminated from the event. The first is the winner of the winner's bracket and the second is a player losing both of their first two matches.
To me, this means once you win a match (1st round) you play until you lose (then wait for Round 2 Phase 1 to start up)
OR play until you win (if you don't, you're out of Avatar #2 event). Therefore, only games A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J, and K have meaning. Limitations in Challonge led to the full, fleshed-out double-elimination bracket but chunks of the bracket are "extra" for our purposes in this event.
Hopefully this is the case because at the end of my win over Oni we had concluded this to be true and most of the EARTH bracket is not planning on playing beyond those games I list above.
