You can use any free card to avoid deck out, I just like gemfinder Deathstalker+epi+unstoppable+quint is very useful against rage quit -type decks. Basicly this is kind of stall deck - solid deck in theory (?).

Using it against gold right now, might test it against platinum if I have time tomorrow. Gets EM a good percentage of the time, but it often gets three wins in a row before hitting a duo or mono deck that blows it out of the water before I can get my rare spin. Another Amber Nymph would certainly make the deck less dependent on draws, and I want to upgrade everything (but the nymph) but that would basically wipe out my entire  reserve.

I use a CCYB mod. Works okay, I win some/lose some. Platinum produces some really fun games- I either win almost immediately or lose almost immediately sometimes, but games can get very interesting.

Beginning: CCYB mod VS Mono Time
Dusk + Lava Golem + Pulvy + SoGs Against dragons + SoGs + SoDs + Hourglasses + Eternities + Turtle shield
I antimattered his dragons.
He spammed the scarabs before my mind flayer got out, and ate the dragons.
My pulvy crushed his eternities/Turtle, but left his hourglasses alone. He didn't get all his SoGs out, but still almost killed me many times.
I brought out my quinted nymph.
I replaced Dusk with Permafrost.
I still come close to death, but barely hang on.
Meanwhile my flayer slowly lobo'd the scarabs/pharoahs/flying eternity.
Fractal Eternity at the last second.

I don't think liquid AM would be a good choice. Against rushes you usually won't have time to set up enough combos to win; it's useless against fire or poison stalls; BH/discord will shut you down before you can set up; and there are many other decks it wouldn't work against.

Yeah, in theory, I thought LS + AM would be good but when I actually tried it...there's just too many counters for it to really be effective.
