Upped Arena Farming Decks https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=32395.msg409269#msg409269

This is mostly for my own quick reference, but this is a list of decks I've used to farm arena, with some comments for each.  I am sure some others could make good use of this, for easy shard acquisition and add a few decks of their own.

? = SoSe

Bronze-Silver:  I've mostly been using this for bronze, it can have some problems when trying to make the jump to silver.  I've lost about 5 games out of 100 in bronze and has a nice combination of speed/reliability.  SoSe is for fun, sometimes it kills you, sometimes it saves your butt, most of the time I find it to be non-beneficial.

Bronze-Silver:  This is a deck I made for trials, that actually turns out to be a reliable farmer for the lower leagues.  I've lost about 3 or 4 games out of 50.  Its a nice change of pace deck when I'm sick of using others.  Quanta balance might be a little off, haven't bothered with it.

? = SoSa

Bronze-Silver:  I haven't tried to move up past Silver with this, mostly because I don't see the point unless you need electrum.  Its a bit on the slower side, but I have yet to lose with it through about 75 games.  I considered adding some SoVs somehow to help counter healing decks, but seeing as I haven't lost, I don't see the need.

? = SoSe

Bronze-Silver:  6 SoSe's were too much so I scaled it back to 4.  Its fun, fast enough, and reliable.  Haven't tried Gold, but I'd imagine it would manage well enough.

Gold:  There was way too much denial on platinum so I scaled it back to gold.

Gold-Plat:  Fast enough to get through games quickly, probably not reliable enough to win spins consistently.

CCYB Modded

6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 6u7 77f 77f 77i 77i 7ai 7dq 7dq 7gp 7gp 7gq 7k6 7k6 7k6 7k6 7ng 7q5 7q5 7q5 80h 80h 80i 8pj

Plat:  Really just a modded CCYB.  It feels like I needed something that can handle a variety of decks + handle the enormous amounts of denial in Plat.  I would consider adding a purify if there is an influx of poison decks at some point.  Early game can be maddening at times.

Plat:  Mixed results here.  Just not consistent enough for my liking.  Fast when it does win though.

? = SoSa

Plat:  If you haven't gotten in on this gravy train, get your 6 SoV's and do so ASAP.  People's decks are beginning to adjust through Bhole spam, Pests, Healing, Mindgate, Purify, etc.  The Rember version is definitely the "better" of the two, but I believe Bonestorms' version performs better in the adjusted meta.  This is the reason to forget about Bronze farming and move over to Plat, particularly if you have a need for electrum + shards.

Conclusion:  I haven't bothered venturing too far out of Bronze because it seems inefficient for shard farming.  SPlat offers an alternative to pure shard farming.  Feel free to add your decks and if they look good I will try them!

My list of arena farming decks, not including Instosis, the Giant Killer, and the various JMZ mods, all of which are at least mentioned above.

Day Traitors (Silver, Gold, some say Plat)
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jq 7jq 7jt 7jt 7jt 7jt 7jv 7jv 7jv 7jv 7k5 7k5 7k5 7k5 7n2 7n2 7tb 7tb 7tb 7th 7th 7th 7th 7th 7th 8pt

The way this deck abuses the AI, it does well. Even if the enemy packs hardcore PC, you can usually last long enough to get out a Blessed Animated Stiletto and Endow it a couple of times.  I've had people tell me they farm Plat with this, but I've found Gold wins more bonus spins over time.

Shakar's Revenge (Silver, Gold)
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 74d 74d 74d 77l 77l 77l 77l 77l 77l 7qb 7qb 7qb 7tg 7tg 7tg 80b 80b 80b 80b 80b 8pu

What can I say? This deck rocks the hell out of all of the lamer rushes in Silver and Gold.  Plat often has both 150+HP and Dexterity in an all-upped deck, which can be just a bit too much for Shakar to handle.

Pestilence (Bronze)
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5oi 5oi 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 713 713 713 713 713 713 718 718 718 718 718 71a 71a 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7n5 7n8 7n8 7n8 7n8 8pr

This deck is lightning-quick and offers just enough defense via Wings and EE to survive even a 170+HP Bronze rush.  It's a nice change of pace from rainblows.

Titanic (Silver)
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
74c 74c 74c 74c 74d 74d 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7ju 7ju 7jv 7jv 7jv 7jv 7k5 7k5 7k5 7k5 7k5 7la 7la 7la 7la 7la 7la 7la 7la 7n2 7n2 8pl

Pretty straightforward: slow to build, hard to kill creatures that ignore your defenses, and just enough "healing" (in the form of GravPull+Animated Titan+ Angels) to stay alive long enough to snag the kill.

Wonton Destruction (Bronze, Silver)
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
744 744 744 744 745 745 74a 74a 74d 778 778 778 778 77f 77f 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 78q 78q 7q3 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7qb 7qb 8ps

This is a little slower, but a very certain killer for the lower end of the Arena. Good when you've got 4/6 circles lit up on Bronze and you don't want to risk losing your last two games.

And finally, my stupidest deck ever...

The Brainless Barrage

Yep.  Simple Gravy rush with the mark and the SoGs to stay alive long enough for the Chargers and Titans to do their duty.  Guards are there to guard: they lure early PC away from the Chargers. :)

Oddly enough, I've found little to no need to use more than 4 Arena farmers for an extended period of time against the Arena.
Deck 1:  Arena Destruction 101
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u5 6u5 6u5 713 713 74f 74f 74f 77g 77g 7dm 7dq 7gm 7ju 7n8 7n8 7q5 7t9 80g 8pj

Already mentioned above, but here it is for verification.  I've officially made the switch from Gargoyle to Steal since MA seems to be more prevalent now than ever.  Highly recommended for Bronze and Silver; I haven't used it recently against Gold, but the last time the winning chances seemed to be about 50-60%.
Deck 2:  Mono Gravy
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
568 568 744 744 744 744 744 744 744 746 746 746 746 749 749 74a 74a 74b 74b 74b 74b 74i 74i 74i 74i 75m 75m 75m 75m 75m 75m 75m 8pl

Okay so it's not completely upped, but heck it functions like it is.  I wouldn't bother with this if you don't have Amber/Gravity Nymphs though; they give me lots of wins versus some decks (mainly Rainbows) in Gold League that you otherwise couldn't get with the rest of the cards.  I'd add a 3rd Amber if I had one, but no such luck yet.  It works best in Gold, but I've had some success in Platinum as well; Gold gives me strings of wins though which is probably the best thing here.  Play the Armagios to draw in Lances from Firestalls, play Otys against Life rushes, OD Armagios against stalls, Gravity Shield and Unstoppable against Mono Aether, etc.  Unexpected amount of diversity and success from a somewhat underestimated element.
Deck 3:  Arena Scarab Lance
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 74a 74a 7dm 7dm 7jv 7jv 7qa 7qa 7qa 7qa 7qa 80b 80b 80b 80b 8pu

I was having sooooo much fun with this against Gold League before the 1.29 patch hit.  Super Scarabs stop Firestall abuse, Unstoppable allows Gravity Shield and Mono Aether to be countered (grrr at Lobo though), and Explosion was for random nuisances along the way.  However, I played it for a while after 1.29 was released and found myself losing more than usual which I believe is because of the Explosion nerf.  Before I switched to farming Bronze League like crazy I added 2 SoR and was completely demolishing almost anything with creatures in it.  It's got a huge weakness to multiple Rewinds and the common crappy draws Speedbows come with (especially considering this one only has 5 creatures in it, but it's fun as heck to play (note that I haven't tried this deck after the Shards were released, use it at your own risk :P) and is capable of putting together strings of wins against Gold League in almost no time at all.
Deck 4:  Powerful Wyrms (Air Rush) Revamped
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u8 6u8 6u8 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mt 7mu 7mu 7mu 7mu 7mu 7mu 7oe 7oe 7oe 7oe 7oe 7oe 7oe 7oe 7oe 8pj

If you're interested in farming the heck out of Bronze for rares, then I might advise this to you.  It's fast, resilient, doesn't rely on good draws in order to win (most of the time), and is pretty fun to play.  I first started with the original Powerful Wyrms (Air Rush) [-3 BE, -9 Air Pends, +2 Long Sword, +10 Air Towers] and found that it worked excellently for farming rares quickly against Bronze.  Unfortunately the day after I had started this, less 1HP decks were around and it seemed like I would see a Mono Aether at least once in every 5 decks I faced.  I then started tinkering with other makes (versions with Explosions, Unstoppable, etc.) and found that they just didn't give me the speed and resilience I was looking for.  This deck beats out Firestalls by drawing in Fire Lances on one giant Wyrm as you spam everything else, stops Dim Shield chains with a single BE'd Damsel, and completely outrushes almost any Rainbow rush you might expect to see in Arena.  I have noticed that you can run into issues against Antimatter, but playing your cards wisely can allow you to beat them as well.  It might not be the best, but I rather like my speed in addition to winrate in grinding, and this definitely has both.  It's possible to drop a BE for an extra Pend, though I use 3 for added draw chance.

This is what I currently use. AD101 -recluse -deflag +SoSe + Steal. I used to use JMZ, but it seems that its effectiveness is diminished now, considering that arena decks somehow adjusted to what the farmers use. I feel a need for deck cycling, or maybe arena farmers shouldn't use the same deck over and over again.  :))

Good post, i switch between some of those decks too, so i'll bookmark this for my own reference. I used to play this before the 1.29 patch, haven't tried it yet, but it was hella fun in plat.

I was really happy to see some of the credible deckbuilders who took time to make quality posts here after I logged off.  Much appreciated!

Also, removed Arena Destruction 101 from the OP because willng3 covers that in detail below.  Added SPlat with comments.

Thanks to all the deck contributors!  It is so nice to have options when grinding.

Much appreciated!

P.S.  We need a mono dark for grinding bronze and silver ;)
It is too late to apologise.  I have already forgiven you.

Sad thing with splat is that i want to use it for shard farming,  but i have to farm 6 SoSa first :(

It seems to me that most platinum decks have adjusted in some way, shape, or form to splat.  I am still able to have some, albeit a lot slower success with it.  Its still incredibly efficient as a FG farmer or vs. any deck that doesn't take SoSa + Poison into account.
