The shame of my Oraclebow https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=29755.msg378586#msg378586

The decks I build for the arena regularly get trounced.  Not just beaten into submission after a couple of days, but absolutely levelled after 5 games or so.  I still suck at deck building, but I also try and make something different for the Arena that I've always wanted to do before, but needed a triple mark or double draws, what have you, to make them anything near viable.  I'm sure that people have had some fun laughing at my mono-time, mono-gravity, voodoo+pandemonium decks, etc.

But this time, I just wanted to win for once for goodness sake!  So, I built a speedbow around the Oracle card.  By that I mean that I completely ignored what the Oracle gave me (Phase Reculse) and just built a speed bow deck.  It's 10 and 1.  I feel dirty.

Ye you took the easy way out, but if all other solutions get you kicked out of T500 in a few matches I  understand why. ;)
It's even harder if you dont have acces to all cards. What I've found is that double draw is more important then anything!

The decks you build yourself sound like very fun indeed. It's not that they're weak but at this moment, rainbow decks, firestalls and rushes are just way more effective. (voodoo + pandemonium sounds pro!)

One oracle-bow isn't going to hurt very much. While I won't put them up myself, I'm very guilty of putting up immo decks, lol

If you add extra :aether quanta (either with a :aether mark/PSN base or an :aether Tower/SN base), you might feel less dirty, because it's more centered around your oracle card. Just a thought :)

Which reminds me I need to update my own thread.

What may help is that Phase Recluse is one heckuva good card to put in a speedbow....

I once put up a 17-3 firestall in gold. I, too, feel the shame. :|

This thread is hilarious as I'm in pretty much the exact same spot.  The decks I put up usually end up giving me a 2:1 win loss ratio.  I despise all these immo and fire stall decks pervading gold and platinum.  So I find that my  :darkness/ :gravity deck is 7 days old and what do I spin in the oracle?  Fire spirit.  So yesterday I whipped together a bunch of fire cards and slapped it up into the Arena, and here I am a 11-0 so far, and I suck at deck building imo. ::)

your oracle deck's success provides very little benefit to you for winning, just throw up decks to charity someone some easy wins

No. No. Just no. That's precisely what we're trying to avoid.
