This is not a tutorial thread, it's an I am butthurt because I can't beat Rainbow decks thread.
In the title, I have "(WIP)" which means work in progress. Please don't insult people about things they haven't even finished yet.
...what is it that you are working on?
The tutorial, of course. It doesn't look like much, but that's just my impatience showing. Trust me, I'll add more later. Things like tips and tricks when choosing which league to play against, etc...

This is a work in progress, if you think something is missing or could be improved upon, let me know in a post to this topic.

Be creative!
Nobody likes to play against a mindless rainbow that people just threw the oracle card into as an afterthought. So in order to get more plays on your deck, not because it's a good deck, but because people probably enjoyed playing against your deck, be creative! Now, I can't guarantee that you will get more plays on your deck, because that's mostly up to the random numbers generator (more commonly referred to as the RNG) who pairs you up with your opponent when you play versus the arena. But at the very least, people may start talking about your deck; in a good way, of course.

Here's a method I cooked up to go about making your Arena deck:
Take your oracle card, find cards that work well with it. If you get something tough as your oracle card, something that you can't find many cards that work with it, look for a deck that uses it on the forums! Adapt that deck, and make it yours.

More will be posted later....
tl;dr version: stop playing rainbow, I hate it

How to build successful decks for the arena (and in general):

First, have a look at what kind of card it is. These can generally be divided into the following categories:

-Expensive creatures
-Cheap creatures
-Creature control
-Permanent control
-Weapons
-Shields
-Pillars/Pends

Then look at the element of the card. Different elements are good at different things, so this has to be taken into account when deckbuilding.

Using these 2 things, decide what kind of deck you're going to build (ie how will your deck win). There are a decent number of ways to do this:

Rush (Just kill them quickly)
Control (Tries to keep control of the board via CC and PC)
MidRange (a combination of the above)
Stall (Seeks to deck the opponent)

Different oracle cards will obviously lend themselves to different types of decks. Stone Skin is obviously not a card that works in rushes and cremation isn't a card for stalling.

It's important to note that not all decks will be successful, but don't allow this to discourage you. Keep a catalog of the decks you've used and try to figure out what works and what doesn't.

More to come so stay tuned...

I still don't see the point of OP's complaining. You can't decide what other people are going to play. They are going to play whatever works and what they can afford to build. Not everyone has 6 upgraded cards of everything.

And strategywise you must realize that even if you're against rush decks - for instance - your deck has to have some capability to counter those rushes, otherwise it just fails and drop off soon. Same thing with denial decks, you have to have something to counter them and so on. All of this comes down to having the most effective and balanced deck combination, which currently happens to be a rainbow deck. All mono decks have some kind of weakness(es). Discord and earthquakes for two.

This isn't saying that rainbow decks wouldn't have weaknesses. They have, but the players aren't playing decks that would specifically counter rainbow deck. A deck that sacrifices a lot to counter rainbow is likely going to fall apart vs. fire rush, which is another common deck seen in arenas. So this is how it is: build the most effective deck and don't listen to scrubs saying card / deck x is imbalanced.

I never use upgraded cards in my arena deck, but I still have some pretty good runs. My last deck, made from randomly clicking cards, went something like 80-40 before I took it down. No upgraded cards at all.

One tip I have learned that I do not know was posted would be this.

Make a deck that is easy for the CPU to use.

Decks that rely on some super combo or lock may not work as intended.
