Yeah.. it's unfortunate success in Plat depends mainly on number of plays and not deck superiority.
Well, winrate still plays quite a huge role. I quite like how the rating system is setup tbh.
I can't agree. I got further with my 60-6 deck than with my 50-2 deck. Losses aren't worth a lot of setback at all if you've won 300 games.
Winrate is important only at start. In gold, you pack 3 losses due to RNG and boom, you are out.
You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

So far as ranking goes, When you submit can play a role too. If you put up a deck over a weekend, I imagine you'll get more total plays (and thus have better potential rating) than someone who's deck was online through mostly weekdays.

Though I admit I got real lucky somehow that it actually got that many plays, I'm still proud of it somewhat, as the deck won almost all of its matchups. A few more losses after 1-2 days of submitting and there's no way you can catch up with the top 10. But there were - close to - no losses, so I believe it still depends mostly on the 'superiority' of the deck itself.

It's a boring, straightforward rush. Could probably be built a lot better, but the concept abuses the extra marks and draws so well that any decent build should post decent results. I believe I'll be using fire quanta often in these.

^^ I'm starting to think that basically any rushy build with 6xExplosion and 2x Draw will do very well in Gold and Platinum. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

This wasn't sucessful at all (23-11 in Plat), but I rolled Blessing and decided to come up with something a bit diferent.

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55s 55s 560 5lf 5lf 5lf 5ll 5ll 745 74c 74c 74c 7jv 7jv 7k5 7k5 7n2 7n22x draw, 3x mark, 165 hp, 10 ups

I think it would fare much better if I had 6 Elite Chargers, but I didn't feel the urge the upgrade the other 5 just for this. :)

On the other hand, this deck I had previously did very well in Plat, with a top 30 spot even though mostly unupped, but yes, it's pretty boring and nothing new. The oracle card was an Ametist Pillar:

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vg 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 55l 55l 55v 55v 55v 6ts 6ts 6u5 6u9 6u9 745 74f 74f 74f 7n22x draw, 3x mark, 165 hp, 10 ups

I wanted to post my deck when I peak at the 1st place in Plat.  But I soon realized that it will never happen (Thanks to Tiko  ;D)
There is nothing new in my deck.  BH and Amber Nymph for absorbing quantums, and Overdrived Charger and Animated Titan for main damages.  It works pretty well.

2x draw, 2x mark, 185 hp, 30 ups

BTW, this is my first post.  8)

For me my 3rd deck is a rather generic rush currently 54 wins and 2 losses in 3rd place. Hoping to be number 1 of GOLDDD

Sheesh. So many people posting their 60 win / 2 loss / 4 day old decks. How leet you must feel! :P

Well, just to even things out, let me post my deck that went 0 and 2 before quickly being booted out of the gold league:
Code: [Select]
4vp 4vq 52l 52n 52n 52n 52n 52v 52v 52v 52v 5f7 5f8 5f8 5f8 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5ie 5lm 5lm 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 712 712 712 714 714 714 71c 74b 7am 7am 7dq 7dq 7gp 7gp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7k5 7q5 7t9 7t9 80i 80j
Feels bad, man. But hey, I had to see if immo/deathstuff would work out. Acceleration/Voodoo Doll actually worked out rather well, so maybe my next thing will succeed, too. I can always put up an Oraclebow template if I run out of things to try.
