time to give sombody the ultimate challenge, make an unupped anti-platinum deck

Using only pillars and sheilds.

I did pretty well yesterday vs platinum using a big timebow with 5-6 steals. Today not so well, maybe the decks have changed a bit, maybe just chance.

Anyway, congrats to kirchj33 for first place, just for curiosity what are your arena deck stats?

Thanks! Currently 1491 rating & 255-5.  I'm down to 121 HP now so I will undoubtedly begin to lose more.

The two decks I've been using to farm platinum & gold myself are the CCYB variant I posted in the OP & Bucky's Hourglass1&only with a cloak.

Weird, now i am 2nd with 1548 and 121-5 (feel my breath on your neck? lol  ). Seems the rating formula is pretty complicated, but i guess this is not the right thread to discuss it.

On a more on topic note, I like the CCYB you posted to farm it. I'm thinking though, it might be worth it to play something with shards of divinity and granite skin maybe, especially when the reward is high. I once got a win with 500 hp (wich is cap), using mindgate vs a deck with a lot of those SoG and granites, the reward was more than 1100, so basically like winning an upgraded card.

I believe the reward formula if you win with more than 100 HP is: base_reward*HP_left/100 (+ base_reward if EM)
so you can win up to 6 times the base reward in 1 game.
