Does AI play cremation anymore? I was testing a new deck, and I put in 6 cremations for the AI to use on minor phoenixes, and I don't think I saw even one played. It was like 6/35 cards will double draw/cards it was 12/70.

Yea it doesn't cremate Minor Phoenixes for some reason, but it cremates Ash Eaters, Photons etc even without the reason, I mean if there is no need for fire quanta at that moment.

AI does not cremate minor phoenix except in rare cases (if negative debuff or whatever)

AI will always cremate the zero cost creatures, even if theres no advantage besides more quantum.  AI will prefer to cremate 1/1 :light, then 1/2 :earth.  not sure about the 2/1 :air or 5/0 :aether order.

thank goodness AI is dumb.  part of arena deckbuilding is finding ways to compensate for AI habits.  seen a lot of decks with good cards that utterly fail due to not understanding how slow the AI plays it, or that it doesnt do whatever was intended.

Lol, my favorite AI cremation moment was when an AI used Chaos Power 4 times on a Spark and then cremated it.  It was pretty neat!!!

There's only certain cards that it will cremate; when I made an immolation arena deck, I had to take the phoenixes out because it wasn't cremating them.  I can't be sure, but a general rule of thumb seems to be that it will only cremate 0 or 1 casting cost creatures; anything that I can remember seeing it cremate cost 0 or 1 anyway.   One exception I've seen is that if it has an antimattered creature, it will cremate that to get rid of it.  Fluffboll mentioned lobo, but I haven't run into that situation yet, so I can't confirm or deny it.

confirmed.  My mind flayer works wonders against phoenix/cremation decks in arena.  I  explicitly remember seeing him cremate the phoenix without it's skill and thinking, "Now that's stupid.  He chose the wrong one."
