According to unofficial sources, the release date for Windows 8 has been set for October 2012 (Source).

idk, ive seen screenshots and i gatta say it doenst look that great. i read something that says it runs well on netbooks (which is what i have), but it just looks to...."smart phone" for me. can you even run internet/minecraft/mmorpgs/etc on it? it doesnt look like it...
