Update from 8.1 to Windows 10?

yeah, my above problems are because, after months and months of selecting "no" to windows 10, it installed automatically, and I am too much a computer noob to understand 'revert'.

Yeah, on the "Update to Windows 10" prompt, they programmed the red X in the top right not to mean "close window" but to mean "install Windows 10". I think somebody successfully sued them for that.

I'm currently running Win10 but soon will be defecting to ChromeOS. I updated from Win7, and it's basically the same just with slightly more modern visuals.


I have but one question: why would you even think of using Win8?

I happily made the change from 7 to 10 at the end of last year. I'm a big fan of the more modern, minimalist theme.

I've had no problems with it at all, but like Higurashi, I've only used it with high-end PCs. I can't comment on how it runs on anything less than an i7.

My only gripe is that compared to 7, you do have to jump through a few more hoops to change certain settings. Compared to 8 or 8.1, 10 is better in every way. I can't imagine why anyone would want to hold onto that garbage.

I'm just going to put in my two cents and say that since I upgraded to Windows 10, I haven't really noticed any problems at all, except for the fact that I can't download anything into the Downloads folder anymore and Groove and the new image viewer don't work, but that could just have more to do with my stupidity in trying to get all my music files in my Downloads folder in Groove than the OS itself.
