You are receiving this email because you're listed as an administrator for a subdomain on https://titanpad.com/.
TitanPad.com will be shut down in the coming year. The timeline is as follows:
* 1st May 2017: All pads will be made read-only, no new pads can be created.
* 31st Dec 2017: Titanpad.com will shut down.
You can read more about the decision on http://blog.titanpad.com/2016/11/shutting-down-titanpad_12.html
Best wishes from all of us, and thanks for all the pads!

Rip titanpad, thanks for the notice ww3, will move all important stuff from titanpad to piratepad :P
-
More like Discordpad. (Get it? Titan's a weapon?)
-
Titanpad was crashing a lot anyway, so won't really miss it. Should be easy to find alternatives.
RIP titanpad.
-
If they still will be readable (and copyable), I'm not worried. The problem starts if they delete stuff.

They will close down completely in December, as in OP

R.I.P. titanpad. Thanks for all the help at war and brawl.
-
Haven't found a good enough alternative, here. PiratePad sux. Contemplating just using a Discord server.

Could just use Google Docs. Idk if that will work, but it might.
-
one of my closest friends for many years passes away :'( you will be missed, Pad.
-
I feel like I should be shocked, but given all the gateway/server disconnects (and potential other problems regarding their infrastructure/management (?)), it's pretty easy to see why their shutting down. A shame, but maybe gdocs can save us ^^;
-
GDocs doesn't save chat, iirc? And even if it does, it's still clunkier to use :/
-
I agree Titanpad have problems with disconnections. However I think it has gotten worse the last year or 2.

While rummaging through Titanpad blog, I found another pad service, which was bought by Google from them.
http://etherpad.org
Can anybody check if it still works?
-
http://etherpad.org (http://etherpad.org) is the software that's being used on these sites.
https://etherpad.net (https://etherpad.net) looks to be a decent replacement for TP, though.
-
Huh, I thought etherpad went down ages ago. I didn't realize it was still working.
