the only reason i would have said firefox a while back is because i havent tried chrome before. chrome translates pages, thats a plus in my book

I voted chrome but its been really slow to even START loading pages lately... I type in an adress, click enter, then wait about 10-15 seconds before it starts loading the page... Any ideas on whats causeing it? I dont clear my cache/history/tifs in it, would that cause it to slow down?

Mine probably would have been like that, but the only time I ever clear the cache is when I reset my pc to factory settings. I go that about every 6 months to keep it at peek performance and just reinstall all my essential programs (chrome, comodo virus protection, tune up utilities, ad aware) and then start from scratch and just do things like normal.

Title should be the browser debate.

As far i know chrome is faster than firefox, but i don't mind slow internet as long as it doesn't stop me from my work.
Never tried chrome, but many chrome users got stunned when saw me browsing with 7 active tabs and  12 inactive tabs opened on firefox, and no tab was lagging!

My opinion now is that firefox is what you would want on you own computer or laptop, you can get the settings and favorites you want on it easily organized, but if you are on someone elses computer and you don't have any presets on it anyways, use google chrome cause it is faster.
