Troubles Randomizing https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=54637.msg1138710#msg1138710

It's been since long that I wanted to make a little league for a forum I'm in about YGO, and I wanted to turn it into a CCG (much like the DS/PSP Games). I've got a little problem, though. I'd want to use boosters and random card wins (like, winning a game results in a random card), but I don't have any idea on how to do this.
Aside from writing every single card and give it a number or randomize an 8 cipher number and see which card has that number (and, if none does, randomize again until I get one), which other way could I use?
I don't mind the method, as long as it is effective (I wouldn't want to randomize number 474 among all of the cards and go through a ton of pages in DN to find the card it is linked to). You can use anything for this, be it YGOPro, Dueling Network or whatever, as long as it isn't biased.
