Give what you think is the first best option, second best option, and 3rd best option against a certain element. Dont have to say all the elements just give one or something we can work on it.
-
I know light and life(no PC, heavy healing elements) are good targets for the OTK(healing is worthless and PC is vital against the OTK, not to mention those 2 have no CC either). With a nice PA hand, EQ decks, fire decks and darkness decks should be possible.
Purifies would give it a matchup with death.
I believe the air/death is our best deck against earth.
Aks and scrambled with extra pillars would be my decks against gravity's D/BH deck.
Many elements could be held back with entropy/dark, scrambled and AKs, but that is theory.
In the practice Sancs will be used a lot against us.
Aether could suffer from trap bow, have a fair fight with DOTK and a fairly bad one with air/death. Scrambled can hurt it with EQs and discords.
I dont know a lot more, for now it is mostly metagame and guesswork.
-
:aether I like scrambled shriekers or the entroy duo here.
:air Denial. Entropy or shriekers.
:darkness The FFQ deck perhaps. Unless they bring dolls. Or ent/dark.
:death Scrambled shriekers, DOTK, or FFQ + purify.
:earth Wings is the obvious choice here I think. Immo or the trap could also do well.
:entropy Not sure about this one. Immo maybe.
:fire Unless they bring a stall or EQs, the trap should work.
:gravity I tested the immo deck vs discord b/h and it did really well. Shriekers with ten pillars is another option.
:life The graboid deck is the best option here because of titanium.
:light DOTK, an FFQ mod, or maybe the graboids would be fast enough.
:time I like immo here, or else an FFQ mod.
:water Not sure.
Just quick guesses.

Sounds pretty good, except I wouldn't use immo against Time. It's vulnerable to something like GotP + nightmare (with RT's). A lot of it will be guessing.
-
:death could go poison/wings against us.
:time - I don't think immo is wise, since it's vulnerable to RTs.
-
Against time we should play mummy. Air/death makes perfect sense.
-
:aether i think scrambled gives us our best chance
:air i expect wings what about the ffq?
:darkness they shouldnt use devtal against us rainbow vs quanta denial = no good. also lost a gotp nightmare deck. i expect vampires of soem
:death trap deck would work well here with many small creatures or poison. bring purify
:earth maybe the air death but afraid of the deckout option they have. def not trap because graboids usually require time time-->rewinds dotk is still a possible option (a 100 attack unstoppable creature is still hard to outstall)
:entropy lost 2 pandeboniums this round so we could very well see the plain brute force abomination rush they seems to be find of or the immocats so what about the trap deck? or if theat is already assigned , the ffq should do.
:fire the trap deck rewinds would be uncommon
:gravity immo does best in quanta denial situations or mod a deck to include eternity because gravity fails so hard... against rewinds
:life the graboid of the past with titanium shields rewinds incase of mitosis or flying staves
:light I think the DOTK goes best here
:time I like the air death match up here
:water they seem to really like trident and icebolts last round i would go for scrambled eggs shriekers bring purify
-
Nice work sevs!
-
:aether Scramled shriekers. FFQ possibly but.. Pandemonium would suck vs anything immortal/quinted.
:air Depends on the player/expected deck alot. Immo could work well also, having rebirthing flying phoenixes and possibly a momentum. Scrambled and FFQ should be viable enought.
:darkness Only air/death and Dotk could have some real issues here as far as I can see.
:death Any of the rainbow decks + purify (vs poison). Immo might be slowed to much vs bone shields.
:earth Air/death or Dotk i agree.
:entropy nothing seems to be getting to much trouble here.
:fire Trap, Earth/time, possible FFQ and Immolation.
:gravity So Earth time/FFQ and Immolation
:life Earth/Time or Dotk
:light yea Dotk.
:time Any of the duos would best resist rewinds. (air/death being the cheapest and not to easy to adapt to for them so yea i agree)
:water anything but the duos could work against a random deck. (mod'd)

suggestions:

:water Gen. RavingRabbid Neopergoss -- scrambled
:light RootRanger LifeLockable -- OTK
:life Gen. wizelsnarf phaedrus -- time/earth
:fire catalyzeme Aitvaras -- trap (a little concerned, though -- they occasionally throw in RTs)
:air The Mormegil ShiningSword -- FFQ
:death Lt. kevkev60614 tttt -- entropy?! not sure...
-
I fully agree with Neos list.
We can make a rainbow out of the entropy stuff and the extras for tttt's game. :) Death is too much a gamble with darkness/entropy I think.
I am very happy with out match ups, it could have been alot worse for us.
Now I think myself, Lifelock, and Paedrus have the best chance at winning from the "who we counter" side of things. If you all agree one of us should be point.
Also earth was pounded last round. I don't think they can out rush Air/death and that goes double due to wings. Now they could stall us. I am going to check everything they played last round but my foe has play Poison Stall round 1 ( Win ), Stall round 2 ( win ), kaker subbed for him with a nova graboid round 3 ( lost ), and round 4 they lsot 24/30 cards of thier poison stall.
Upgrade the Arsenics, and Poisons/spiders?
So 3 arsenics, and do we upgrade poisons or spiders?
Ok a match I want to see won is Neos, I dont want to lose scamble shrikers, but this looks like an easy win if they play trident anything and depend on it. I could be wrong. They also could play a rush because RR can upgrade SIX cards. They can also poison rush.
Depending on what darkness plays Sevs should be good. They will prolly not try devourers so what else would they play and what can immo rush play out of the cards we have to counter it?
Also what should sevs upgrade?
Phaedrus match up is a match made in heaven I think. Reverse time destroys most life rush. BBs are good too. Any mods needed to graboid of the past even?
Those are the matches I am thinking of now, will work on the others.
-
I will put my mind to the :death match, but I won't have much free time, mind you. I am sure we'll prevail.
:underworld
-
To be honest I think you will have the hardest match this round, or Aitvaras could if fire pack RT.
-
While I am here I will do this.
Ok we will count the event card this time. I will assume the point will not lose, if they do it will be bad but no worries.
If we sweep the round 288+48=336
7-1 record = 288+40-25=303
6-2 record = 288+32-50=270 ( Woot we can still play 8 decks next round. )
5-3 record = 288+24-75=237 ( What like 6-7 decks? )
We have the element of suprise, and this is a great event card for us, we most likely wont win everything but when we do lose it iwll take 3 losses to really hurt us bad enough for me to care.
-
I really like the look of our match ups!
Working on the decks post now but don't have much time so it might not get up until tomorrow.
-
from what i have seen hasnt fire only used RT's against gravity but i could be wrong.
and wow not bad match ups well see. you never know what many of those teams have hidden in the vaults.
as for :darkness i will do some research.
for the dkc itself , is it possibel to change from a shockwave to some other form of cc if we have it in the vault because you need 4 novas/immos to play both.
also the upgrades you have there in the deck post are you sure those are the ones you want? i guess they should help with the initial possibility of getting one in your starting hand, but what about the cc things so you could get them out after just one nova or immo instead of waiting for a second? what is your opinion?
-
Ya Sevs I just did that really quickly because I was in a rush.
I totally missed the shockwave connection. If we want it and fog we could up those.
Not sure the upped riders would even speed things up that much. I'll do some testing.
I'm not sure we even want the CC. Maybe 2 upped deflags to deal with dusk would be better and stick with lycan/arsenic fog?
Play around with it and see what you like best.
