Can we get to know our opponents @round 5 before we actually determine our decks ? It would be good to modify our decks beforehand depending on our opponents as we have 240 cards which means we can't have backup cards but just fill our whole vault with the decks we make up.
Sure we have some idea about their vaults which allows us to choose which deck to fight with when we know our opponents, but can't really modify any of our decks accordingly (which other teams can). Knowing other teams vault is nullified to a point by the fact that we don't know our opponents before we prepare our decks. Right now, we don't have any real counter decks for we can't predict who we will face.

(ie. Say, we have an immolation deck with 2xdeflags but we would have a chance to replace them after we actually know if our opponent's element & vault has permanent based decks. )

My point is simply that the other teams had the opportunity to prepare counter decks beforehand, knowing their opponent. What we are doing is semi-blindly preparing 8 and only 8 decks that would hopefully be generic enough against all elements. That is why we don't (and can hardly have) any Purify card for example; 240 card limit, our vault deadline and not knowing our matchups nails it.

I get what you are saying hainkarga, but I feel we have enough of an advantage as is...

We were not bid on, but are still in the war, and can possibly win.  HUGE advantage.We come in at round 5 with 240 cards, where as other 'legit' teams may have even less.  Look at water.We get to build 8 very well oiled decks.  Even if we cannot build counters or have that option, I feel this is an advantage.  Just knowing how the whole vault concept works, imagine us creating 20 decks, then having pieces of those decks stripped a way.  Can those 20 decks be cut in half and re-assembled to be competitive?  Cut into 3rds?  That is what other teams are having to do with each loss.  Now try to predict which decks are cut up and which aren't, and have this propagate over multiple rounds.  Not an easy prospect by any means.We gain quantum pillars from transforming and have no element restrictions.  We are able to salvage everything and anything from our plunder and have the best chance of making a working deck from these scraps.  Every other team has to have at least 50% be from their element, which is much more restrictive than our 3-card max rule. Sure, a lot of decks are hard/impossible to make work (still haven't gotten a poison deck to function to my satisfaction) but that is what makes these type of rules fun.  They make you take a good hard look outside of the box.

If we fall on our backsides or some rule imposed on us causes irreparable havoc to our winning chances, then we can document it and voice why it needs to be changed, and hope it is fixed in the next war.  Just the switch from coming in to the war in round 5 instead of 4 is huge.  Let us embrace our blessings and forget our burdens.

I'm well aware that we can't be the same with other elements with our pros or cons as UW rules are experimental yet. I thought knowing our opponents was our right as all the teams have it as it is not something related to the rules but merely helps us to enhance strategy.

Anyway, i have confidence in our decks & players. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun regardless of the outcome. But when rationalizing, please don't compare us with the teams at the bottom who used all their chances for 4 rounds, unlike us

I don't know how much SG looks at these threads, I am just trying to be helpful.  Anywho, if SG allows us to build our vault up until the deck building of round 5, it would be amazing.

I've been sick for a few days so I haven't had time to see what is going on on this section.

We have a big problem.

As I'm writing this, it's roughly 1 day and 10 hours until round 5 starts. Here's the problem: Team underworld Vault has to be ready before round 5 starts! So you guys have exactly 1 day and 10 hours to build the whole Vault.

I went to see your Vault just now. It said "zero cards". In little over one day it should say 240 cards.


What you guys need to do now is to start building your Vault asap!
