I think everyone was thinking of them tempting arsenics & flying weapons
Its smart thing to consider after all.
Few comments:
- First of all, i know you love them but i think devourers lose their value without any fractal / BE / nightfall. I tested this deck and altough i love devourers too, i ended up upset for drawing them. And only 3 is too little for quanta denial without any support cards (like those we have in rainbow deck). I think they don't have place in a flying weapon deck.
- Lycans use the precious darkness quanta (for dusk mantle) and are vulnerable on the first turn.
- 5 cards waiting for
quanta. I ended up waiting too long with spiders in my hand.
- Giving up BE & chaos seed ends up no creature nor permanent control.
I propose testing something like this;
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4ve 4ve 4vh 4vh 4vl 4vl 52j 52j 52q 52q 5f6 5oi 5oi 5oi 5ol 5oo 5rl 5uo 5uo
- Replacing a spider & lycan for 2 abominations for higher damage and higher chances to play.
- Adding 1 more quantum pillar.
- Owl's eye against a creature deck (Replacing a discord).
- Deflag for perma control.
- Hourglass to draw cards. But this card is meh.
- I know this time it became shy of
quanta. But these
cards are not as immideate as playing
cards. You can delay playing wings & OE and accumulate
quanta until you face increasing number of creatures. But a creature such as spider needs to be played asap. What i mean is, being shy on
quanta isn't as bad as being shy on
quanta. Flying weapon is important but it is too easy to play. If we add another offensive card, Wings can be thrown away to relieve
resources anyway, maybe with a chaos seed.
Think about it ji. It should be you who decides your final deck anyway.
