Round 5 opponents

From what I saw, Chum used both basilisk blood decks and butterfly effect/discord decks twice.  I should probably expect one of the 2, and the best way to counter them is with a rainbow.

- Mono fire good against
- rainbow graboid good against
- immo rush good against most, probably except due to heavy cc. I have high expectations with this deck, i hope it doesn't hit a counter.
- titan deck is good against
- mono life against
- earth & time against
- too bad we don't have opponent which entropy&darkness would be cool to use. This could fit against
- i don't know where to put rainbow control to. or perhaps. But it looks cooler with 3 upped novas.

We should check their decks carefully before deciding. But i have a hunch they won't use too much permanent control but will use creature control and possibly pillar destruction.

I expect fire to come onto us with stall decks, so discord can also be good to use against them despite the fact that they can destroy it. But if they use an immolation deck, rewinds (earth & time deck) are strong against it. But earth & time deck will get an epic lose against a fire stall since it has 3 hp creatures (easy targets for fire) and 6 wasted creature control cards against a fire stall which doesn't use creatures at all. Our best bet against fire would be using our immolation rush & mono fire unless we really need these decks against other opponents. Our earth & time deck has a fair chance against life anyway.

Our mono life is jack of all trades, it will always has a chance against anything. Against some less chance, against some more.

if that is the best possible descision, i think we take what you said...

2 light opponents, 2 fire, 1 darkness, 1 death, 1 life, 1 air...

light = rainbow graboid
light = entropy darkness
fire = mono fire
fire = earth time
darkness = mono life
death = rainbow control
life = immo rush
air = titan

dont think over upped cards, but this could be a option. hope you make a good descision

I'd switch earth time with immo rush deck. Earth & time has good creature control against life but graboids are vulnerable to fire. immo rush on the other hand, with a good starting hand, has a chance to rush fire early. And fire can't kill phoenixes.

I agree with that, and am now thinking that titans would work well against air.  The only problem I have is that chum used discord twice, and may possibly use it again.  If that happenes, I would be screwed with the titans.

Titan is a rainbow deck, it doesn't have much problems against discord. All you need is 5 gra + 4 life + 1 air quanta and some aether (not that much really). That deck can be played against most of our opponents. But only hard against fire with their deflags that destroy shields and fire lances that ignore them, but even that is possible.

We can practice if you are around. I can either take the titan deck vs an air deck you can pick from their round 4 decks. Or we can do the opposite. Whoever will use the Titan deck, DOES need practice with it.

You 2 need to be more active in secret forums. I know real stuff can come in the way, and i 100% agree real life > elements, but theres a way to still be able to post some on here.

Sorry about that.  I don't normally post unless I have something specific to add.  However, after researching my opponent a little, I agree that the deck that is currently assigned to me might not be the best bet.  The suggestion for mono-life is a good one.  The few heals would probably make the difference.

hrmm, i thought against a miracle stall would be a discord, devourer and butterfly effect quantum denial be the best... but ok... then what did you want?

butterfly effect will be useless, i would go with the rainbow that has discords and pests
