Life had the idea of resurrecting DOTK i havent tested this out but it was meant to catch eyes.

Maybe use a deck that is anti-bonewall, and anti-EQ?
We should mindgate a purify in the deck
Momentum with High HP creatures and MOAR blessings and healing with sancs.

I say we have a light mark rainbow deck.

How about poison with, carapace and/or fire and/or upped dissipation shields with healing?

Dotk scares me a bit because of the weakness to EQs and the lack of draw strength.
The entropy fractal deck looks really interesting! I'll test it.

They can't use fractix against us this round.
They have 1-2 bonebolts left, and they have to use them.
I say we use something like this. Cloak should hurt them so bad it is not even funny and when mixed with HP cards Aether should lose.

you have no PC. a big no against aether. when using DOTK with cloak, i found cloak incredible useful against their decks. I do think bonebolt is more useful against other elements especially when we have phoenixs and fractal.

@ phaedrus
you have the mark of death which is actually pretty cheaply used. what about mark of light with that deck with 3 sancs? just a suggestion


Aether hasnt shown anything that they salvaged from the round before, there is still a large chunk of their vault that we do not know. They could have alot of things, EQ's, firestorms, sancs. another deck heavy in dim shields.

Since we all took shots in the dark on what we felt they might play and Life actually hit it right on what do you think they wil play?

I am saying PU phoenixs with dim shields.

Ya, I'm not sure we'll see bonebolt at all. We won't have a hard time countering it (I don't think) if we're pretty sure they don't have many other options.

I just kinda used a random mark Sevs. Light with 3 sancs could be good.

On a bit of a side note lets maybe pick up a pulvy? And continue to avoid expensive cards in general?

Here is a deck using some similar ideas to the one Long just posted  and others we've used before.
It is aimed at countering both bonebolt and phoenixes.

He's worried about phoenixes and we don't have two fire shields. We might be able to use a thorn shield instead but skull shield will likely deal with phoenixes/lava golems faster.

I want to reemphasize that we should bring a diss shield along with some of the other cards suggested that would be helpful in later matches. I guess I should show up close to the deadline to make sure. I wanted to bring it at the beginning, but we didn't think it would be so good since it's mostly useful upped.

So its a possibility. Bonebolt wouldn't really be a problem I don't think with the current deck (knock on wood). A grab and/or EQ deck is also possible. That could cause problems.

I imagine fire shield (or skull with lots of luck) would help a lot with that but otherwise I bet it will give you trouble. Novas neutralize the discords and there's nothing else to defend against the powerful graboids. I suppose a wings is possible to add? It might help, though they'll likely bring some deflags anyway
