How do we make member roles final? We should get going on that.

It has just come to my attention that I will very likely be unavailable for the the last two weeks of March.
The options I see going forward are the following.

1) Keep me on as deckbuilder and have my matches subbed and role taken care of for that period of time.
2) Move me to Dogsbody and have someone else be deckbuilder. Matches would still have to be subbed.
3) Find a replacement for me altogether. If this is done before the final linup needs to be submitted then there shouldn't be a penalty I don't think.
 
Not stoked at all to have to drop this bombshell on you guys, but there are more important things in life than elements.

Well Phaedrus, it is a shame, i understand how that can be, but i had the choice, i would get a replacement.
There are a lot of good players out there, and they want a chance in the team as well. Not to mention having as many active members as we can is always useful.

But, as said above, we will have to wait for neo to decide.

This raises some questions: Will the event even last that long? If we do need to find a replacement, who is eligible? I'll find out on my own later today or if someone else knows they can post the answers here. I'll decide what to do once I know more.

Assuming there is a conflict, that's a shame, phaedrus. RL is tough.

Well, the lenght of the event will be determined by the winning rates of teams and for event cards as well(it is hard to predict).

It looks to me like the best option would be a replacement as well. I think you're right that subbed games don't give salvages Sevs, and thats no good.
I would love to stay on, and think I would still be able to contribute significantly in the next three weeks, but its hard to say whether that makes up for the missed time.
I played DrunkDestroyer in round 2 of the tourney and think he is someone I would go to first If I were looking for a replacement. My round three opponent Kjaska is an option too.

There is an alternative that will give less problems than having to sub without killing phaedrus chance of playing.
We could get a replacement in the middle of war, costing us 6 cards only(which could be a few or a lot, depending on our situation).
Just one more possibility to consider.

I am fine with keeping  Phaedrus, if it only cost 6 cards to replace him then it's ok. If we are put in a situation where that hurts us anyways then odds are we are not winning the war anyways.
