After doing more testing and math my vote is for an air mark variation.
Here is what I'm leaning towards at the moment.
-No OEs, wyrms to soak up extra quanta vs non-EQ decks, fly the arsenics.

I don't really see the value in titanium shields personally.
I think there are other ways to beat life which are perhaps more vault versatile?

How many cards would the two ent/darkness decks take up all together?

I think I've perhaps been slightly biased against AK's because I don't love the idea of using a deck that has already been used in war by an underworld team. That said, I'm going to take a more thorough look at it. The fact that it did so well last war should make up for the fact that it was used so much last war.
the 2 damage reduction is helpful against life, death, darkness and the 2 damage reduciton forces people to unburrow graboids which are a a standard in bows.

the entropy duo differ by 9 cards

and one of the entropy duos (dev BE)was also used last war. but also to a high degree of success if that sways your opinion.

Ya guess I can see its usefulness in a bow with purify vs death.
I'll think about it some more.

I like the idea of taking both ent/dark duos. 9 cards isn't that many, and if it loses (knock on wood that it doesn't) then those 9 cards could be integrated fairly well.

exactly thats why I suggested putting both the entropy/darkness in vault.

I myself think the titanium shields are a great adition to the vault. We only take a minimum amount to put in the earth/time deck and maybe 1 for another deck. We can convert them to quantum pillars if they needn't be used, and thus can help form new rainbows with any salvage/left over cards.

Something we also need to start doing is make a list of what decks people can play (have cards and dont COMPLETLY hate it.)

I say this because I've seen some people rand about getting a deck they didn't know or like or ever seen before. I don't want this to happen even slightly.. If we find that someone has no deck he likes to play or is familiar with we might need to allow him to fill in 30 cards of the vault next. Since this is a team afford and everybody should feel like it's fun!

I can and will play whatever is assigned to me, my strong point is in denial and rush, and my weak point are stalls. but with enough practice, I can master whatever people think the most effective deck will be.

I think there is overwhelming support so whoever the vault person is, they should add the 39 cards of the 2 entropy darkness duo to the vault in SG's post

Yup the ent/dark duos should be in. However....
Can we tweak them a bit to make them more similar?
ie, -BE -Garoyle +steal +purple dragon for the devo deck?
Are we considering maxwells at all?
Are we sure the quanta balance is ideal?

I too am willing and able to play any deck I'm assigned.
I hope everyone stays active enough that we can catch problems in that regard before its too late.

I will play ANYTHING! I can adapt and I played trapbow a few times in PvP, I understand it now, it was the only deck I did not understand much.

I need to get owls eyes right now, until i do it will be harder for me to play the air/death.
I like all decks that are good, so as long as you dont put a quintet with 5 kinds of elemental pillars in our vault(you should see the things that lurk pvp1, calling those things abominations is an insult, to the abomination card!), i will play everything.

@Neopergoss from what Shining said I deduce you played both versions vs an earthquake/graboid based deck. Was the difference very notable? Was the air mark version simply smoother or mostly just more safe from EQs?
The air mark makes all the difference against eq. You don't need much death quanta to play poison or arsenic, anyway. Wings is great against graboids. OE was helpful but shockwave would probably work almost as well. The reason OE was used was because the quanta balance changed and more use of air quanta was needed. It's possible to replace some pendulums with death pillars to fix that if shockwave is favored. I think if we're really worried about EQs dragonflies would come in handy. Not sure if it's worth including them in the vault just for that. This is the last deck I was using:

It's kinda slow. I found the wyrms to be pretty inefficient, though. I'm really not sure if this is better generally. It could probably use some more work. I'd consider changing the quanta balance and adding mummies.

edit: Phaedrus' recent version looks pretty good.

Ok on the subject of the Air/Death duo I can't say im too confident in any form posted to work up to par on what we are trying/hoping it to accomplish. Right now I'd say Phaedrus's last version seems most promising to me aswell.

Maybe we want it to do to much, and should focus it on the part we REALY want it to do well.
Than my vote would go to Phaedrus's for now, since it has the best offensive without using to many (different) weapons (needing flying before you can play another) and does have the wings+air mark and quanta balance.

Here is one more version that will generate enought Air to use dragons, and no " :death expansive" mummies.

I played one game where I kept as many pendulums at hand as possible without discarding and still won. This ofcourse doesnt equal a Graboid/EQ test but I think this one is yet another possibly working one..

Entropy/Darkness
would anyone/two people be willing to test these decks, unfortunatly I cannot test anything well till I recieve my laptop. My pc crashes on nearly everything more intensive than MSN or forum/informative sites right now..

There is always room for improvement. But making the decks more similair should NOT be prioritized over effectiveness. Just saying. They are similair enought to go in the vault both right now, but maybe the tweaks suggested byphaedrus actualy make the decks better, we dont know till it's tested.

I will be one of the few who cannot play all decks, like I said earlier I cannot play many games for testing, same applies to grinding I am afraid. I can try to get the rares still missing before round 5 starts, but I cannot promise this succeeds. Shwg*tt* hardware is h4S*xbtt*Y..

that is true about the tweaking in the Entropy duo's. Maxwells can be a huge asset to any deck, as most pvp creatures have attack>hp. and i would be for making the two decks a little more similar.  I feel the gargoyle are a little weak for the quanta maybe add a steal or replace them with cloaks to give 9 turns of protection to your creatures. especially while the devourers BE things.

Ehm, can someone make a thread with only the *acccepted* decks so far. I know we have at least 3 ready decks. I'm tired and this is pages worth of reading (haven't kept up).

Yup I'm on it tttt.

Lets try to restrict this thread to vault based issues and talk about decks elsewhere.
