Ok before we can really set a Vault we need to start coming up with deck ideas, and fast!

Remember the UW deckbuilding rules.  I'll list them here to remind everyone:
Modified deckbuilding rules for Team Underworld:
- any mark
- maximum of 3 copies of a single card. This restriction does not apply to Pillars or Pendulums.
- General may use up to 9 upgraded cards (unupgraded cards taken from the Vault are transformed into upgraded ones)
- Lieutenants can use up to 6 upgraded cards (unupgraded cards taken from the Vault are transformed into upgraded ones)
- Other players can use up to 3 upgraded cards (unupgraded cards taken from the Vault are transformed into upgraded ones)
- no Shards
- players are not allowed to change their decks during a round.

Also keep in mind that a maximum of 18 copies of any non-pillar/pendulum card are permitted in the starting Vault.

It is important that everyone PLAY THESE DECKS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!.  Test them against the AI's.  Play them against each other.  Get a feel for which ones you like best, which ones are fastest, which ones are most consistent, etc.  The more time we spend testing and building solid, strong decks the better we will do and the more we win the more everyone gets to keep playing since we won't lose player slots due to having not enough cards.  So pitch in and post your thoughts, comments, ideas, results if you do testing......anything at all you think that can help.  There are no bad ideas!
Carpe Diem!!

This was sent to be by furballdn.  I think it's a solid start:

Deck import code : [Select]
590 590 590 591 591 593 593 593 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5rk 5rk 5rk 5ro 5ro 5ru 5ru 5ru 8ps

Love the concept.  I played around with it a little keeping in mind that we get 3 upgrades minimum and came up with something I think it a little better:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
590 590 590 593 593 593 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5rk 5rk 5rk 5ro 5ro 5ru 5ru 5ru 77a 77a 77a 8ps

I removed the 2 Shriekers and 1 Earth Pendulum and replaced them with 3 Steel Golems.  The Steel Golems have more survivability against any type of CC and cost only 4 :earth so they can be played out faster than the 8 :earth Shriekers.  For a Lieutenant or General you can upgrade the Graboids and/or Ghosts for more punch, or the Pendulums for more speed.
Carpe Diem!!

Here is a list of decks I put together today as some ideas.  Please feel free to post your thoughts on them or play with them a bit to see which, if any, you like:

NOTE: I haven't tested any of these yet so they may be pretty awful.

Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vh 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 590 590 590 593 593 593 5f6 5og 5oi 5oi 61q 77a 77a 77a 8pm

This one I think has real potential.

Not one of my favorites but it might work.

Frozen Titans do 50 damage when catapulted so if there is enough stalling from the Sundials and Armagios this might work.  The quanta balance might need to be tweaked still as I'm not sure there is enough Gravity.

Since we can't pack it with Sundials and Precogs I tossed in some BB's and Freezes along with an Aether mark and Phase Shields to help it stall better.  The concept is the same: Save up until you can play all your dragons at once then play them, Sky Blitz, and Chimera (if necessary) for the one-turn kill.

Basically an anti-Grabbow meant to kill most Nova-based decks.  The spiders can web fliers as well to keep them from going over the Wings shield.

A simple denial deck.  Trident to kill pillars/pends and Wardens to stall attackers until you complete the denial.  Nymph Tears allows you to make Nymph Queens to spawn Auburn Nymphs, or can make the Auburn directly.  That allows you to lock down the field.

Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 5c2 5c2 5c2 5f4 5f4 5f4 5i8 5i8 5i8 5lm 5lm 5lm 5on 5on 5on 5us 5us 5us 61q 61q 61q 6qq 6qq 7tb 8po

A different type of deckout stall.  Sanctuary, Vamp Dagger, and Heals allow you to stay alive while your 18 CC cards keep the field clean.  Save up some :water to use the Ice Bolt/Shockwave combo to eliminate pesky weapons.  It can become a fun little OTK deck as well once the quanta builds.

A modded unupped Vader Sader.  Not sure how effective it is.

A fun deck that may or may not be fast enough.
I'll keep posting more as I come up with them.  Looking forward to seeing more thoughts and ideas.
Carpe Diem!!

Not really sure about your adrenaflies deck. That seems like a FFQ would be useful in it as you'll probably have way too much :life when you use it.

Here's a deck I made just recently based on the ideas of it's a trap. It obviously needs tweaking, but it's just a basic idea.

EDIT: and here's another deck I made based on stall, control, and poisoning your opponent to death. Methinks the quanta balance is way off though.

(Obviously the sundials would work much, much better upped as well as the holy flash)

Ugh. The underworld deckbuilding rules are such a hassle. Feel free to exchange the steal for a gargoyle, maybe add in another graboid, arsenic, or whatever else improves it.

I tested these against some of the decks that the other teams used during round 1 of war and found these to be pretty powerful. It can usually shut down your opponent quickly. Only problems I had with this was really bad draws. Drawing only one pendulum on the first turn is pretty bad.

Can't decide whether entropy or gravity mark is better though. You guys decide.

I think with a gravity mark we have more probabilities to play a discord in the 2nd or 3rd turn

Adrena Fireflies seems really random..

Entropy mark, by the way. That way with bad pendulum starts we will have discord out either way.

Here's some simple decks that could work.....

The nymph is nice but hardly necessary.  You can sub in an Abom for it or something else even.  The quanta balance seems to be good enough to get the creatures rolling well by the 2nd turn.  Can swap out CPs as well for something else if you like or play around with different concepts like upgraded Demons or anything really.

Pretty fast little rush.  The virus is just a filler card for whatever works there but it seems to really be able to get rolling quickly.

It's ok with a bit more survivability due to the Heals and Staffs.  I've tinkered with version that have Dragons and/or Scorpions as well so anything can sorta work really.

Meh it's ok and gets the job done but seems lacking somehow.  The Immo component really helps get in the quanta though and it still can get you 7 turns wins.

Fairly simple rush.  Can probably sub in Steals for the Dusk Shields and fit some Drains in there for CC if you think they are needed.
Carpe Diem!!
