whats up? a whole day no posts? ahhh, not inactive before we begin war!!! :)
Not inactive, I just like to post when I have something to say.  I've been testing the various decks posted here and other ideas I have had and working up a plan for our vault.  You're not gonna get rid of me that easily.

We have gotten a lot of our decks out, so I dont think there is much to say here.  I think we should start to narrow down our choices.

I agree.  We have about 3 days left to get our vault together.  My plan is to start getting our list together tonight.  A good timeline would be:

today - limit our list
tomorrow - finish our list
last day - put them into the vault.

This makes the 4 days of deck building, planning of round 5 to be simple for us.  All we have to do is assign each deck to it's respective user.  We can use this time to do mock battles and make sure each member knows their assigned deck.

Since we want to have the flexibility of assigning each deck to the correct opponent, I want us to build the vault as a flexible set of decks.  Will compile all my thoughts in a few hours.

Decided to sleep on my thoughts, but they are more concrete now.  I am going to hide the decks, so this post doesn't become mega long.  Let me know if that is annoying to anyone.  I find having to scroll for 15 hours more annoying then clicking to see the stuff.

We can tweak these decks, and some still need to be solidified.  But the idea is there and it will just take a few more min of discussion to finish.

Immolation Rush:
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 590 590 590 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5f9 5f9 5f9 5fa 5fa 5fa 5fb 5fb 5fc 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5og 5ur 61p 61p 61pI agree with hainkarga that this is a fast deck.  I had some problems with dead phoenix in my hand (never got the fire quanta needed since I prioritized golems), so maybe they are a candidate for being upped.

Speed Rainbow:
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vh 4vh 4vi 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 52o 55q 55u 590 590 5c1 5c1 5c2 5f6 5i7 5og 5og 5rk 61q 61q
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 52o 52q 55q 590 590 5c1 5c1 5f6 5f6 5fb 5if 5og 5oi 5oi 5rk 5ur 61q
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vh 4vi 4vj 4vj 4vj 52o 52q 55q 55u 5c1 5f3 5f6 5ia 5if 5le 5rk 5rk 5rr 5rr 5rr 5ur 61q 620I want to see one of this type, a quick Rainbow that's whole propose is to overwhelm with creatures, and some slight distraction.  These are so easy to make, but so hard to prefect, we have multiple options.

Shrieker Semi-Rush:
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58q 58q 58s 590 590 590 591 591 591 593 593 593 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5rk 5rk 5rk
Code: [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 591 591 591 595 595 595 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5aa 5rg 5rj 5rk 5rm 5rm 5ro 5ro 5t2 5t2Shriekers... everyone has them, everyone hates them.  I like the first deck more, EQs and BB, but that is just me.  Both are effective, but I find that one has a good mix of control and power.

Control Rainbow:
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vd 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vn 52t 55l 593 593 5c1 5f6 5f6 5ie 5oj 5rk 5rk 5um 5um 5um 5up 622More focused on disrupting your opponent, it's strength lies in having multiple paths of annoyance and damage to finish off it's threats.  Can be tweaked a lot, but I feel the general goal is good.

Fractal Chargers:
Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55m 576 576 576 576 576 576 61o 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 61u 622 622 622 63aThere was some good discussion about this one, but I feel it is needed.  If we have a problem with the damage output, then we up the chargers.  We need a good stall-breaker, and this one is effective at doing just that.

Entropy-Death:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vo 4vo 4vo 50u 50u 5um 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5uo 5ut 5ut 5ut
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vo 4vo 4vo 5um 5um 5um 5uv 5uv 5uv
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4vf 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 50u 50u 50u 50u 5uo 5uo 5up 5up 5up
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vo 4vo 50u 50u 50u 5uo 5up 5up 5v0 5v0After yesterdays discussion, I think one of these is a good choice, just due to the effort put into it's concept.  The last deck is my idea of a good choice.  It's funny, how many different ideas and types can come out of the same main concept.  I will be drilling in on these today to see which one I like the best.  Solid choice.

Poison!:
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52i 52i 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52r 52r 52r 52u 52u 52u 542 542 542 542 5un 5un 5un 5uq 5uq 5v0 5v0
Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 52u 52u 52u 55q 55q 55q 5c2 5c2 5c7 5c8 5c8 5c8 5lf 5lf 5lf 5rt 5rt 5rt
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52q 52t 52t 52t 52u 52u 52u 55q 55q 55q 576 576 576 576 5i5 5i5 5i5 5jm 5jm 5jmThese last two types I am still indecisive about.  For this one, I really like poison, I think it is a great strategy and bypasses a lot of ways the opponent tries to hurt you.  I have not gotten play-testing done on the first deck, but I feel it is solid.  Tweakige might be needed.  The next two decks were what we have proposed so far, but I feel they lack consistency and defense.  I placed it here just for posterity.

Because life is not fun without options:
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bt 5bt 5bt 5bu 5bu 5bu 5c0 5c0 5c0 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c3 5c5 5c6 5c8 5c8 5cg 5cg 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vg 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 55t 55t 55t 55v 55v 55v
Code: [Select]
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rl 5rl 5rl 5rm 5rm 5rm 5ro 5ro 5ro 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rr 5rr 5rr
Code: [Select]
5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5uo 5uo 5uq 5uq 5uq 5ur 5ur 5ur 5us 5us 5us 5ut 5ut 5ut 606 606 606 606
Code: [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5f7 5f8 5fb 5fb 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5lg 5liI feel we have all of our bases covered with the above 7 choices.  The last deck is a toss-up.  Anything else that is solid can work, it just matters what we feel comfortable playing with.

We are down to 2 days, 4 hours to finish this off.  If we can get these complete by around this time tomorrow, then we can have our vault done and ready in time for the deadline.  Post any changes, suggestions, comments, complaints, ideas, thought provoking revelations, or anything else that will bring us to our goal.

I think that the only way to make fractal chargers effective is if they are upped, so I think that is either a general or lieutenant deck.

Ok, here is what i think
1- you should listen more to what your teammates have to say
2- fractal chagers dont work unupped
3- we have worked on a entropy darkness already in the decks we will use section of our secret forum
4- shrieker *rush* isnt a rush anymore
5- the others look *ok* but im not too crazy about it

Notes:

* 3 decks with discord, those being two rainbow decks, and entropy&darkness. At least 2xdiscords in each.
* I tested Entropy & Gravity (BH & GP) for a while, it works good.
* Earth & time with shriekers is always, always strong. The way to hold them is having stall decks built around shields. But we can always choose against whom we will use it, after we know who our opponents are. [Perhaps gotta rethink the impact of Hematite Golems]
* i already said my words about fractal charger & devourer decks.
* i lean towards #22 as for rainbow rush. [I'm rechecking that deck, your inputs are welcome.]
* I have concerns regarding control rainbow. Not sure how it will work out. I'll take your word if you say it worked in your tests.
* I'm not a fan of that many butterfly effect + devourers in the entropy & darkness deck, let alone slow gargoyles. Good against permanent based decks, weak against rush decks which doesn't care about permanents and weak against decks with any sort of cc, easily killing 2 hp devourers. The deck's stalling chance is playing a very early discord, but that is true for any entropy based deck anyway.
* Let one of us (not me) focus on a strong poison deck. I guess we have experienced players with poison decks. I'll merely comment on your final poison deck decision.

I am sorry i got carried away earlier, i pretty much meant everything but the number 5 though.

BH/discord is far from working as great without nymphs, and its better if we dont add them to the vault

fractal charger, use it if you want, but i am not taking this deck, im not going to lose my match because our team ended up not listening and taking a not effective deck

shrieker semi rush looks pretty good to me

Butterfly effects have proven themselves, for all the games ive played with darkness i think i can tell, but that can get out , it doesnt really matter.

strong poison deck, maybe i could propose my poisonbow? ( we can replace the 3 extra poisons by pillars or whatever )

I found the Shrieker deck to be good against creature based decks, and poor against shields, CC or EQ.  If you find a way to make it work without the golems, we can do that.  I did find that they were a second thought in my tests.

Quote
* i already said my words about fractal charger & devourer decks.
I feel we have nothing to tackle a well built stall deck, but since out teammates do not like the idea, I will take it off the list.

I find the rainbow deck I put as last to be the fastest of the bunch.  It has the most consistent draws and hit hard.  If you like #22 better, we will run that one.  I have faith in our deck builder.

In tests, it does well, has many ways to lock/disrupt the opponent.  I will continue looking at it and see if I can modify it to run smoother, see what I can do.  And of course, if the team doesn't want it, it can be axed.

We had quite the discussion for this deck.  A lot of ideas.  It's a good element duo, but we need to make sure it works.

So far I have not created a reliable poison deck.  They are another answer to stall, which I believe we will see, but I have not gotten one to click.  Poison's foundation is adding poison consistently each turn ASAP.  So far each type I've tried either did not draw the necessary cards, or was too slow, or inconsistent in adding poison.  We might have to trash that idea.

Hahaa, I was finishing up a reply to you, then you answered everything yourself.

I will take out the fractal charger, it is causing more heartache than is worth.

I will look at your poison bow again, I had some inconsistent draws, but it might just be me hitting bad luck.  If you are happy with it though, we can add it.  This is not just my team, it is our team.

I will get a more concise list here in a few hours, I want to test some more and it gives you all more time to test as well.  Gonna push it down to 8, see how we like the look of them all and mutate them from there.

Sure, let me attempt to make a hybrid. But mind you, i'll put 2 discords in that either way :) Thanks.

In tests, it does well, has many ways to lock/disrupt the opponent.  I will continue looking at it and see if I can modify it to run smoother, see what I can do.  And of course, if the team doesn't want it, it can be axed.
I just haven't tested it. I guess you have.
