Tragic Accident at Baseball Game

The Dallas Morning News is reporting a fan who fell over the outfield wall during the second inning of the Rangers-A’s game in Arlington has died.

The fan — whose name is not yet available — was trying to catch a foul ball flipped to him by Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton when he fell over a railing and tumbled 20 feet behind the left field wall

His name is Shannon Stone, a firefighter from Brownwood, TX. You can see his 6 year old son, Cooper, next to him just before he falls. This is incredibly tragic. Also noteworthy is the fact that this happened a year and a day after a different firefighter fell from the upper deck at the same ballpark.
