Actually I don't think the US boys have a chance in this group.
Since I'm a "half-Russian" I like Group H very much.
My brother says that his secret favorit is Swiss. He is speaking for weeks that Swiss is the first nation that wins a WC on South American ground. Hehe.

US has an outside chance if the group goes Germany 9 Portugal 4 USA 4 Ghana 0, which I think is the best the US could hope for.  Would come down to goal differential, and if Germany blows up Portugal, could happen.  If the US loses to Ghana, it's all over.

Okay, I sent my predictions in.  I'm not sure what it means by the 'tipping' choices, and I could not find an explanation anywhere for it, so I assumed it was for goals scored by each team in that game and filled it out accordingly.  I put in my picks for group A-H winners and the high goal scorers, finals, semifinals, etc.

@dragonsdemesne: Yes, correct. You are tipping the result of the game.

@All: Be carefall, because in KO-Phase you have to tip the result after penalty.
Example: Team A vs B plays 1:1 after 90 minutes. Then there is a 2x15min extension and the new score is 2:2. After penalty Team A won 7:6. -> in this score are all goals. From the first 90 mintutes, the two extensions and from the penalty.

So you have to "bet" team A wins 7:6 to get the full amount of points.

Okay that makes sense to me, then.  Of course (unless rules have changed this year) there aren't any penalty kicks in the group rounds; it's just recorded as a draw at that level, so betting a 7:6 in the group rounds would be completely insane :p
