Ryan is a terrible head coach, as far as I can see. He's much better suited to being a DC. Why they fired Sparano after one year, who took over an insanely bad offense that clearly needed more than one year to reset, instead of Ryan is beyond me. If he doesn't make the playoffs this year, or prove that he can be a effective head coach, he needs to be gone.
As for their QB situation, there's a point where a player has to be benched. I wouldn't call Sanchez a 'joke', since he did have several good moments earlier in his career, but he's still not great either. He should have been benched pretty early this last season, and Tebow should have been put in for a large role, being the proclaimed backup. Tebow may have greatly struggled in Denver, but he showed flashes of having potential, and that deserves a better look than he got in New York.
The Broncos shouldn't have gotten rid of him anyways, because he's a utility player and a viable backup, but that's a side rant.
They've also signed David Garrard, and are bringing in Kevil Kolb. That's four QBs who have both struggled in their careers to at least some moderate degree, and then you have McElroy, who didn't even get to prove himself last year. So that's five possible 'starters', although I wouldn't like to apply that to any of these players.
That's not competition, that's a crapstorm :F
