NFL Detroit Lions Undefeated in 2011!!!

The Lions are undefeated in 2011.  I could not have asked for a better start to this year!!

Anyways just a little for all the Detroit Sport fans out there!!

Being of a younger generation, this is the first time I am genuinely excited for the Detroit Lions.  Those games were fantastic.  Suh is definitely my favorite Lion.  TIME TO RESTORE THE ROAR~!

but I can honestly say - they Lions are gonna be a good team next year.

I'm hoping they take 2nd in the division and earn a playoff spot - but they might be a year away from playoffs.

Apparently "let" means "play all our starters for the entire game and still lose anyhow".  Not taking anything away from the Bears, they've had a great season and I think will do well in the playoffs, but saying they "let" the Packers win is just a bit mistaken.

For myself, I'm just happy that Luck is returning to Stanford so my Bills have a shot at him next year.  In fact, I'm organizing a "Start Brian Brohm" letter writing campaign in Buffalo in hopes that we will go winless next year and ensure ourselves the first overall pick so we can get Luck.  I'm calling it the "Get Luck-y in 2012" movement.

Let is possibly the wrong term-  Chicago was a hot and cold team this year.  Mostly hot, but sometimes they were just bad.  They just didn't seem to show up against Green Bay.  Good news for Buffalo.  Luck has decided to stay.  Which is stupid IMO.  With the whole rookie wage scale an extreme possibility after this year, I would leave and make that minimum 40 million guaranteed. I do respect him for finishing his education though.

I've been impressed by the moves the Bears made this year - I was worried about some of their pickups in free agency. But when you don't have any draft picks what can you do - Julius Peppers has been outstanding - and getting Urlacher back was huge for you.

But your secondary is aging and your O-Line looks like Greenbay's O-line from last year only worse.

All that said I think Luck is making the right call - he wants to play next year - who knows if that will happen with the NFL.

My two favourite teams are probably Pittsburg and Green Bay, how awesome it would be if they were matched in the superbowl.  The way Rodgers is playing I could see the Packers advancing, and I think the Jets improbable run is over.

At least they're not playing for the NFC in Seatle lol.
