Kobe and Gasol and Howard getting old. Kobe is out of contract (or has like 1yr left), Gasol-no idea, Howard might be gone, not a lot of young guys either...what do you think will happen?

Los Angeles is a big market, they probably won't have much trouble attracting big names. Although with Jerry Buss gone, anything could happen now. Just a mess of a season, so many injuries, which kills defensive rotations and gives a lot of open shots... and then their 4 best guards being out/injured for the playoffs. I don't think many teams could win with that.

(Next year should be interesting... Lots of players' contracts are ending.)

I think Howard will want out and test free agency. They would be stupid to let Kobe go (you know he will work more than hard enough to get back). Nash has another year left I believe, so they will keep him for next year. Gasol stepped up near the end of the year, so barring any disputes, he should be sticking around. The team finally got chemistry near the end of the year, so I think they will be fine next year.

Boy...Lakers future is in a lot of trouble now. Swept in the playoffs is going to come down hard from the owner and GM.
