2nd Sideboard Event - Battle/Brackets Topic https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=17298.msg220189#msg220189

The 2nd Sideboard Event officially starts now.
Please read the rules (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16210.0.html) again to avoid any confusion particularly #3, #4, and #5.
Ignore the round titles. (Preliminaries = Round 1, 1st Round = Round 2, 2nd Round = Round 3 and so on)

Bottom Loser's Bracket Countdown
Round has ended

PM your opponent and try to find a time that suits you both. Time Zone Converter (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html) might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you both are online, coin will be flipped to determine the winner, unless one is clearly more active and/or more flexible (save all PMs in your 'Sent' box for proof but do not forward them to the organizer unless requested).

Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and sideboard built before the start of the event, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or sideboard during the event. But you can swap cards between your deck and sideboard at any time.

Post all results in the 'Battle Results (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,281.0.html)' subsection with accompanying decklist. You are required to present your decklist (and sideboard) every round. Winner should create the result thread using the following standard :-
[round #] <winner> <score> - <loser> <score>
e.g.
[Round 1] JustJoe 3 - MiniFonda 1

It baffles me that participants keep losing their codes.
I am not your personal code keeper. You do not come to me asking for your code.
But I will let it slide for now.

Here are some things you can do to avoid this situation :-

1) Organize your codes better. Save it in a text file and create backup somewhere else (online notepad could work, I use 2: notepub (http://notepub.com/) and jotthisdown (http://www.jotthisdown.com/))
2) PM a copy of your codes to yourself via this forum
OR
2b) Better yet,

To make this event run much smoother and faster, you can start the next round if your opponent is already decided.

Take note losers of the winner's bracket need to fight twice in a round, therefor it would be best to start your matches as soon as possible rather waiting until the very last second to do so as not to inconvenienced everyone else who participate.

What do we do about byes? Are all those who participated in round 1 expected to fight blind and fully exposed against a person who has not yet had the priviledge of battling or do they also need to post their decks somewhere to make things fair?

...Meaning? (Napalm didn't ask a yes or no question)
Imo they definitely should be required to post their decklist, no need to make their advantage even bigger.
