Deciphering the quotes above this post:

hainkarga: so, i'm going to battle against my own general.
onizuka: obviously you are going to win. think about our match instead.
deuce: i didn't care about sideboard. I cared about war.
onizuka: why signup an event if you didn't care ?

deuce22 1-3 hainkarga

My initial thought was correct in every match, but I never trusted it once. He therefore countered my counters every game, except RNG let me win game 2. And yes, I didn't utiize all of my upgrades because I can count...

Game 1: He got better draws.
Game 2: Even though 2 of my dials were last 3 cards, fog managed to hax.
Game 3.1 and 3.2: No dragon in the first game let me chimera for the win. Early dragon, hope, and fractal in the 2nd gave me an easy loss.
Game 4: I was faster.
Game 5.1 and 5.2: An amazing draw turned into desync which then led with an extremely crappy one.
Allllll illegal deck.

hainkarga: 3
onizuka: 2

I used the same decks as against deuce. Except i used Lobo this time to get past sundials. I alternated between these decks. I guess two of them with hope, three of them with fractix. With hope deck, i lost once and won once where i was lucky with early dragon otherwise i would most likely lose that. All this mess is due to only one card: Chimera. His decks revolved around that which made his sideboard the better counter.

Actually, that's not that bad of a hax. 62 potential damage, 5 of which is unblockable by me, and 37/57 damage wasn't blocked.

Roughly 1/3rd was blocked, so go hax for under achieving :P

What can I say, counterdecked. He had pretty [cruddy] draws, but I was confident in my chances regardless. Poisons ensured I didn't need to worry about him stalling me to death, while all of his decks didn't have a way around BB'd GPulled Dolls.

Game 1: Immophoenix was the easiest matchup. GPulled and BB'd my doll asap, when she was nearing her death I just played another doll and changed GPull target FTW.

Game 2, 3, 4: Fractix was his best bet. On a good hand he would outrush me. Game 3 I made a bad play mistake by EQing his pillar to avoid early fractal instead of BBing my doll to ensure its health: QTs weren't very helpful and I didn't topdeck Nova, so my doll was killed and he got out a fractal FTW. Game 4 I practically outrushed him with 3 Deadly Poisons. He had some MPs out but didn't draw a fractal for half his deck. OTOH I didn't have a GPull. We both waited a lot, but I managed to give him 8 dolls with a Nightmere and it was over there and then.

EDIT: I might be brainfarting but I don't remember his second win. *checks chat log* Yes, he won twice. Not that it matters. I erased one of his wins it seems.
