Easy EM with unupped deck in OP. Drew 4 pillars and a few wings in starting hand, so he couldn't even touch me.

It might be worth replacing Precogs with Purify and :water mark? It's practically impossible to break the chain even without Precogs and Purify helps with slow starts and EMs.

You could, but don't start complaining when you lose because your Wings are hanging out near the bottom of your deck and you couldn't draw through it in time. Precogs help decrease the likelihood of that happening.

It is certainly not impossible to break the chain, I can tell you from own experience.
Precogs are what makes this deck fast. Speed is what makes this deck so effective, imo you need those precogs.

Purifies don't help with slow starts at all, they're the cause of slow starts even. I do admit they're good for the EM ratio.

Well, it certainly seems unlikely, seeing as even Dimensional Shield chains can *usually* hold (in fairness, though, they usually wait for the last possible moment). By slow starts, I mean Serket gets poison on you before your first Wings. Just a speculation, anyway. Besides, breaking the chain is often irrelevant with Purifies.

Of course, I'm only saying this for the unupgraded version. The upgraded version has no problems with getting Wings up immediately, and gains much more speed from Precogs.

PWNED.

I only had 2 pillars in opening hand and lost the flip, so I didn't get wings out until turn 3, and on AI's turn 3 serket played a scorpion and a flesh recluse, so I didn't get the EM.  Serket completely bent over to this deck.  If the pillars had been towers, it would have been an EM, even with everything else as is.

I have very few upgraded Air cards so I used the unupgraded version as a template and used what I could from the upgraded list: (damselfly in place of pillar)

Based on the deck's performance, I strongly recommend using the precogs/time mark instead of the water mark/purify route, especially if you can build the upgraded deck.  Without the precogs (I think I got 3 or 4 that game) I'm pretty sure I would have missed at least one turn in the wings chain.  I'd still have won, but not as handily.

I got serket again and with the wings/dragon/precog deck I got an EM easily.  Turn 2 wings, and never broke the wings chain after that.  I think the game took 11 turns; I know I had played two wings and had 4 in hand at the end.  As long as you can get a wings out before serket gets his first poison hit on you, you should basically always get an EM with that deck.

I love the deck.  Worked perfectly, would have gotten Elemental Mastery if I hadn't gotten one poison counter before my second turn.  I'd say that this is just about the best and simplest deck to easily beat a specific FG every time.
