EmeraldTiger, I was not volunteering for art help, I was merely suggesting you understand that your table was not in perspective, and that if you wanted it to be good in the realistic kind of way, you could change it by changing the shapes you used for the table.
Since you're using the complete image of the barrels without warping it (edit, transform, warp), then you should keep the perspective of the barrels throughout the whole image. The eye-level is at the height of the barrels, as you can't see the top of the barrels but they make a curve.
The green horizontal line is eye-level, the yellow is the height of the floor.
I have no clue if this helped me with anything, lol. But it does show that we can put a vanishing point in the middle of the picture, although that was probably obvious. Wow, I suck at making tutorials on things I don't know how to do.
The magenta line is the height I chose for our table. I made it shorter than the barrels, and under eye-level. I also picked a length and then a width for the table, and placed four cylindrical legs that touched the floor where (I thought looked like it would represent) the usual places for legs of a table. Note that if you chose a different height, length, and width for the table, the table would be a different shape. If you chose a different vanishing point(s), the table's shape would also have been changed.
Note that the coloring is not supposed to represent light-darkness in context, but the shape of the table itself. Also note, that i suck at art, so that could be one of the reasons why the table looks weird. Another reason why it looks weird would be that you had a different height, length, and width in mind compared to the one I used. The major bone I had to pick from your old table was that the thing on the table kinda went into it, even though I knew it wasn't supposed to. In addition, your old table looked slanted, I assumed it wasn't slanted and was instead parallel to the ground.
So conclusion:
Pick a vanishing point(s)
Make sure all the objects drawn are compatible with said vanishing point(s).
???
Profit!
