These cards are designed to exploit Water's three major mechanics: freezing, flooding, and poison. Some obvious synergies:
1) Envenom Infects all your creatures, Osmosis then transfers all of that toxin to you for easy Purification, giving you a bunch of poison-delivering critters at almost no cost to you.
2) Grotesque Pollution + Ice Age = everything dies eventually as long as you can keep both permanents in play.
3) Yeti + Ice Age = just hold onto him until he's massive, then destroy the Ice Age.
4) Pollution + King Crab = if you're going to have to poison a creature with Pollution, make it a huge, cheap one.
5) Pollution + Osmosis = if you can manage to get a lot of top- and bottom-row creature or just freese him out, either way Pollution+Osmosis means massive poison counters for your hapless opponent.
A sample deck using all of the above:
Mark of Water
6x Water Tower
6x Air Pendulum
Advanced Osmosis x2
Improved Envenom x2
Grotesque Pollution x2
Ice Age x1
Yeti x3
King Crab x3
Flooding x1
Toadfish x4
Purify x1
The abilities on King Crab and Yeti are passive, meaning that Envenom gives them the ability to pass poison onto the opponent. Toadfish provides CC that, with Osmosis, can add even more Infection to your opponent.
