No Rare Cards (also works unupgraded)

- I've never won a game with this deck. It's too slow to play against Seism's quick damage.
Excuse me, but 6 shields are enough to keep you alive.

I won 1/6 in trainer. You need to be seriously topdecking to make this work.

Yes, 6 shields are plenty, but they are rather expensive. And if the pillars don't come out right, you're in a lot of trouble.

Used this version of the pillarless one I made:

I have no upped sundials.

All I needed was one Rustler, and I got one on turn 3. Easy game. EM.

Used it a second time. Deck tried to scare me by not drawing hope until the last turn before I would have died, but I still won with EM. No cards from spin though :(

Third time, no rustlers and no mitosis. Just bonds and a few RoLs + Hope. You can imagine, I lost this time.

I have no upped sundials or heals. So I used SoG instead of heal. But I drew none of them before I won.

3 RoLs on turn 1, and then I had to wait till turn 5 to use my unupped mitosis. Rustler came out even later. Still EMed.
Maybe I'm just lucky, coz Seism didn't rewind anything of mine :P

This time Seism kept rewinding my mitosised jade dragon. But 4 jade dragons were enough to out-damage the giant skins.

BEWARE. The sundial/life RoL hope fails miserably. I thought I was unlucky, cause 3 RTs completely stomped over me even when I had a very good draw, but the same exact scenario happened in 4 more trainer games. Not recommended :(

I tried the unupped aether with protect artifacts (below) and got beat - it was sort of close, just didn't draw the dim shield when I needed it.

It worked surprisingly well even when my hope shield didn't come till late in the game.  You can play extra rustlers to get more healing from the empathic bonds.  Very nice deck.

Edit: Very nice deck when it works....  just lost.  The damage came too fast to keep up with.
Edit part 2: Yup, just lost again.  I'm thinking that must have been a slow start for Seism when I won the first time.  I like the idea of using Sundials though...  I might experiment with that later.

Easy win with an overquanta'd RoL/Hope on my alt. Upped quanta sources are pretty much necessary. A version with Sundials may be better considering Seism's 5-turn rushes.

My notes with the RoL/mitosis/hope deck show that I went 4-4 with it against Seism with oracle predictions.  As that's not very good, I've been trying to find something else that works.  This one seemed to do fairly well, although unfortunately the upgrades are fairly important for speed, so it's not really viable unupped.

Basically, chain dims and wings forever if you can.  Use eagle's eyes to snipe dragons first since they get past wings, and anything else if you can/must.  It's a bit short on aether quanta, but you'll (probably) never run out of air quanta.  The unupped quanta is deliberate in order to help defend against quicksands.  Fractal your damselflies, and have them tickle seism to death.  If he gets diamond shield up, your shards of freedom will help bypass it.  Try not to play more than 1 of any quanta card in a stack due to quicksands; that's why there are so many different ones, just to bait out quicksands.  I threw in one dragon just in case you need to fractal it for extra damage.  Also, the shards help against the rewinds.  Interestingly, seism won't burrow his shriekers against your eagle's eye, either, or at least he didn't against me, though with so much dim/wings chain power, it doesn't really matter if he's got shriekers, anyway.

Feedback definitely welcome... :)

edit: Upping one of the wind pillars would be a strict improvement, as you'd still have a 2/1 split either way.  I had one each of the unupped pillars in air and aether replaced with marks in my deck, but that's not exactly appropriate for a FG counter so I swapped them out, but forgot that the air pillar should be upped.  (or turned into an unupped aether pendulum; that's probably better, actually)

Switching the mark to aether might be a better idea, and changing the quanta base appropriately...

Failed miserably with this. The wings + dim shields are not enough to survive especially there is no source of healing. Seism has two types of dragons that the Eagle cannot kill quickly enough. I was able to get 1 wings and 1 dim shield before I ran out of protection.

Used the same third-upped, four-dial version as last time, and I should probably post it:

I won this time, with EM and three cards, but I feel I was lucky with rewinds, only seeing a couple throughout the whole game. That being said, I also didn't see a hope in the first half of the deck, so considering it still managed to win with EM, it might be more reliable than I think. Will keep using it :3

EDIT: Fixed grammar failures.

Just tried Ddevans version of the rol/hope with Life (had a few extra upped cards), and I got beat pretty quickly.  Four creatures doing 10 damage a turn is just hard to hold off against.

Here's the deck I used:
