Just tried with this deck. The deck is large so that you can hopefully win by deckout, even if the cc keeps your damage down.

This deck has lots of cc to deal with the physalias and octopuses. Wings last a long time (30 turns total), and gives you time to kill any threats before it wears off. The only creatures that can attack through Wings are her dragons, but there are only 2, and aren't that hard to kill. Purifies are cheap, so it only needed just a splash of water. Dragonflies provide small damage and air quanta, and serve as cc bait. The shard of freedom and upgraded cards were thrown in just because I had them, but aren't all that important.

It was working well for the most part, but purifies were spaced poorly, and I didn't get a second one before the trickle of poison finished me off. It needs more testing.

For me, the Wings were too poorly spaced. So to keep it large and make it more effective, I'd say include Some permafrost shields and change a few pillars to pends to accommodate it.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Edit slightly improved the deck; it has an above 50%win rate, but its still not great

I was fortunate enough to get a quinted air nymph pretty early, but Scorpio was also fortunate enough to get an early permafrost shield up. It was a nail biter right at the end when he ice lanced me down to almost nothing and the poison would have killed me on the next turn. Luckily, though, I had just gotten enough unstable gas to kill him off. This deck could use a way to remove those shields. Maybe replace 2-3 sundials with Pulverizers or something.

I managed to beat Scorpio with a RoL/Hope upped with Aether Towers, Rays of Light and light dragon/luciferase. I actually only managed to win because of the miracle, so it might not be the best choice, just the best I had at the moment.

Had a very comfortable win with this deck, although I got fairly lucky with early sundial draws to stall out for the incredibly late air pend draws.

Update: Now 1-1 with this deck due to being disgustingly unlucky, I had 3 quantum towers in opening hand, up to 5 by turn 7 but couldn't scrape together enough aether quanta for a dim shield until I was already dead on turn 9. With something resembling decent luck I had the right cards in hand to win but oh well.

I got very unlucky with draws, only 1 tower in opening hand nearly every game. But I was just able to scrape by except for the 2 games where I just couldn't get any aether quanta or a purify.

18 pillars aren't really needed, in most 60 cards decks 15 are enough

use normal dials, they screw up the mulligan, that's why u draw 1 tower; having nymphs REALLY helps in this case, drawing a 3 card combo can be annoying even with so much glasses, but nice deck

Havent lost yet with this variant:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5ia 5ia 5ia 5p0 5p0 5p0 61t 61t 61t 61t 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 7ai 7gq 7gq 7k2 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 80d 80d 80e 80e 80h 80h 80h 8pu

Pulvy usually isnt necessary for permafrost, just be patient (in absolute worst case you need nymphs around for a total of 21 turns, counting a turn where you have 2 nymphs double etc), electrocutor deals with Physalis. It uses so many towers to not get bad quantarng early as often, besides 20 towers is perfectly reasonable for a huge deck. Mulligan is unlikely so upping the sundials is worth it.

Another possibility is to heavily modify a 'malignant ball that could' to contain dims and purify rather than SoSac and change the quantabasis.

Edit: Welp now I lost, only 2 dials and one dims in the first 24 cards; didnt draw miracle to save the day either and had not yet build up enough gases to use them as CC.

I came back to this problem, and this deck seems promising:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 52k 52s 52s 5f8 5f8 5ia 5ia 5ia 5ia 5lm 5lm 5lm 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5op 5rl 5rl 5rl 5rl 5rl 622 8ps

The key observations here are that Scorpio has no PC, very little hard CC, and all low-HP and mostly non-flying creatures. Wings block out most direct damage, and purifies plus a handful of sancts can absorb the damage that gets through. Aflatoxin helps clog Scorpio's side and reduces threats as well as providing fodder for the killing combo at the end.
