I tested a deck that runs rareless and without upgrades, here's my first version. It's a water-light-life-air quartet!

So far this deck in various forms has failed; it takes too long to get Hope set up, and Scorpio is a fast killer. I am open to suggestions, or feel free to test and post your own versions and take credit for the modifications - I'm just putting the idea out there.
Problems with this deck:
- Shockwaves are necessary to kill Ulitharids (unless he gets no Aether Towers)
- Novas were necessary to ensure water quanta generation does not get in the way of other types big time - as a result, purifies can be unreliable. Purify was not, however, what killed me.
- The only healing available is Bonds, and they take forever to set up.
- I originally had Adrenalines to bypass his freezing, but that's not only won't preserve your ability to summon Fireflies, it was creating even more bad draws.
A water/aether/darkness combo might be interesting too - Steal, Mind Flayer, Fractal Devourers and Drain Life. A solid concept but severely lacking in damage unless you wait quite a while for the Drain Life spells. No shield and Drain Life being the only healing presents a problem.

This one is tough. Can you tell I'm thinking out loud?
