getting other opponents would be nice, i have the same one as round 1...

Each player will be pitted against another player who has done as well (or poorly) as him or herself. For the first round, players are paired randomly. For subsequent rounds, players are sorted according to their cumulative scores and players are assigned opponents that have the same or similar score. One provison is that the same players never oppose each other twice.

That shouldn't happen.

The score calculator in the googles doc wasn't working correctly, so a lot of the points were incorrect. They should be accurate now.

I just want to add that the points that were changed and the holdup this round were due to an error in the doc that I made.  There's no way the organizers could've seen the error, so please hold me accountable rather than them.  Regardless, the error has been corrected so the rest of the event (and future events, if any) won't see this issue.

For those who are curious, the error was in part due to the fact rp and ls are currencies, so Gdocs treats 5rp as 5 Indonesian Rupiahs no matter how hard I tell Gdocs 5rp is a sundial.

He got a 'forfeit' win because his opponent wasn't active in getting the match done. His score is averaged out based on the other winning decks.

hm, ok... but then i guess, 12 other players were not active enough to get a forfeit win? thats realy sad...

i guess, if this will go further, we have to change somethin in the rulez, so the low pointer didnt vanish in the middle (beginning?!) of the event.

Nymphs should be either valued the same as their alchemy counterparts/a rule added that makes nymphs and their alchemy cards the same value.

Its silly that because you were luckier with the oracle you get to do directly better in events.

Does "The Zeru:all creatures are entropy" apply to creatureless decks too?

Idea for future consideration: -5 base points each time a (non pillar/pend) card is used in a winning deck.  If three winning players each use six copies of deja vu in the first round, deja vu loses 3*5*6= 90 points of base value for all future rounds.

The doc could be modded so Organizers could just input each player's deck in one sheet and each player's score would be output.  It'd make the doc more complex but users wouldn't notice it, and it would probably make the Organizer job easier.  If we rebuilt the doc that way, card usage effects on base point values would be automatically calculated.

This might further promote deckbuilding diversity.  Something to consider for the future.  Dunno.  Maybe it's not necessary.

do we have to wait till youngsot comes back? in 3 days duelingtime some sort of conversation could be nice, so we could know when next turn starts


edit: whoa, just realzied, utalan will post round 4 only, so i guess, youngsot needs some rest after his trip and we go on later ^^ (sorry if im too brash, but i would play as many games as i can, before i go on holiday ^^)
