ET, I already created a thread similar to this, you should look first, despite the fact that mine was more based on classification, it also became a study of what the elemetnts were, such as what I assume this thread is meant to be.
But anyway, I hope My thread link helps with the science study.

Zanz has confirmed that the thermodynamic meaning of entropy is the accurate description. Gravity can make things thermodynamically Ordered and Entropy can make them thermodynamically Disordered.

It's all very metaphysical, isn't it? But this does give ET a place to start his research. Of course, now I do understand what you mean:
Maxwell's Demon: A paradox about a system where entropy can be reduced, which contradicts the second law of thermodynamics (although I don't understand what that has to do with high attack)
Dissipation Shield: Dissipates the built up entropy (heat).

Still in discussions people refer to entropy as the element of chaos, which fits the "information theory" entry (mutation/chaos seed/pandemonium)

when information entropy and thermo entropy correlate people have drawn inaccurate causalities. I have not succeeded in teaching the all community this yet.
Suffice to say: If it is random it might belong in entropy however Entropy is not just randomness as seen with Nova or heatdeath.

ohh did i hear someone call a Chemical engineer? no? no? damn.

heat is enthalpy =/= entropy

second law refers to the ∆s universe >0
in a system it is possible to have a gain in system entropy as long as the change in gibbs free energy is negative. which technically isnt a paradox.

and the way to relate thermodynamic entropy in layman's terms is disorder or randomness. the more spread out = greater entropy.

and to dissipate is to spread out or scatter

everything makes sense from a thermodynamic point of view

Only when reality and fiction agree. (Entropy is the only example I can think of with sufficient correlation)

From what I read about Aether it has connections with Light, Gravity and perhaps a couple others.

We may need to create our own science behind each element in the game, but at the same time keep some aspect of the REAL world science.
