They have not found jelly fish on another planet, and even if they did, as jelly fish are crwtures originating from earth, it would not be considered "aliean" life.

seeing as everyone is stressing the requirement of intelligence so much.

Neither Survival nor Dominance requires it.
What's more important is the Abbility of adaption, but not nesseceraly by Technological routes.

it could just as easely be done by biological routes.
How About Extremely Fast Evolving Creatures, They to could be able deal with nearly any problems. (if nothing else at least equaly able as the humans you seem so intend to compare them to.)
(Nor Requires long life, shorter life spans actualy tend to increase the rate of adaption, (well so far on earth it does.)

Dont think, the rest of the Op's list isnt anywhere near correct either.
Like the requirement of beeing big to be succesfull.
etc.

But thats my oppinion on the matter.

Ps:It also doesnt even Require Carbon Based, Silicon has been researched as a pretty viable option as well.   (As well as Nitrogen, and Phosphorus And some others)

I second that. The only hing an organism needs to do is continue its species, and ntelligence is not neccesarry for that

Yeah I guess so. It's been a while and I'm now smarter and have done more research. The Jellyfish like creatures were found on one of Saturns moons.

Until now, ive never heard of alien jellyfish anywhere, please stante your sources, also, id like to combat a remark you made earlier in your comment that started this toopic, we have been sending out signals to aliens, most notably a large scale radio one with large intensity that will caver a large area, that represents hunan,  as well as their location, as images.

We cant expect anything about what form an alien life form have. The only requirement for intelligent life is its namesake intelligence. Advanced lifeforms need no intelligence. We might encounter (in the far future) an alien insectoid or similar which is driven solely by instinct or equivalent and have not encountered nor needed any intelligence to be the master of its home planet and in time it have spread its "spores" or "eggs" or whatever across the universe.

Life finds a way. Life is only one thing really, survival. The ability to adapt, spread and breed. There are no other rules to it. Besides that everything goes.

I'd like to ask, is the point of this topic to talk about simple alien life, or to talk about sentient alien life.
