Sacrifice - Round 7 Matches and Battle Results (SEMIFINALS!)

Matches are best-of-five. The first player who wins 3 individual duels, wins the match.
- Players have (more than) 6 days to make the fight happen. They must contact their opponent using a PM, and try to find a time that suits both.
- If the fight doesn't happen, both players lose by default, unless one player is clearly more active in trying to find a suitable time.
- You may only use cards from your Vault, in addition to Pillars, Pendulums, and Mark Cards. You may use any mark.
- The number after your name represents the number of upgrades you may use. These upgrades apply to every deck you play this round.
- You may change your deck during the match. If the match lasts 5 games, you are allowed to use up to 5 different decks, as long as they are all legal.

After duels, all players must submit their results and decks to this thread.

If you see anything that you think may be a mistake, send me a private message immediately.

2 Nymphs Tears in my opening hand and 5 quanta - got off to a fast start, all he played was quanta and a Fahrenheit.

After 3 desynchs - I drew my first nymph at card 14 into the deck - that's far too slow.

He added Lightning to his deck - but I added Ice Bolts. So while he kept killing my nymphs I kept drawing more - and freezing the Fahrenheit once, was enough to get me to the win.

Great deck prediction on my part and I still almost lost. He got off to a super fast start and I didn't draw reflective. However I started with both Miracles in hand, so I figured I would still be okay.

Well played.  Game 2 was quite the debacle, but I don't think the 1 loss affects anything at this point, so forgive me for wishing you some bad RNG just that once.

Ran the straight forward mono-fire.  Figured if he had reflects the Faren would get him and if he ran some weird pulvy/trident/patience deck I could blow everything up.  Turns out he ran no permanents except "unhatched Nymph Queens", so the deflags were pretty useless and I got blitzed down.

Changed my upgrade distribution in an attempt to get turn 1 farenheits, and went down a deflag, as I suspected that he suspected I had nothing to outdo his game 1 deck but I was still afraid of trident/pulvy.  We desynced 3 or 4 times and both beat the AI.  I may have wished he got bad hands once or twice during those games in an attempt to not lose 3-0.  I only slightly regret this, but afterwards I promised not to do that again (this series).

Figured I could all in on Farenheit damage killing him, as it seemed very unlikely he would change decks at this juncture.  So I went CC heavy in the idea that if I killed the first NQ or two before they made more I could just grind him down.  I was 2 fire quanta short of killing the first one that came out, so it made a second.  I killed both, and then the third.  But then there was a fourth, and a wild icebolt (on 11(?) water quanta) appeared and froze faren for 3 very critical turns.  The nymphs then did their magic dance all over my corpse.

I may have jokingly promised to run psiontal into his reflects, and being down 1-2 with no adequate plans (other than wishing him awful RNG) to beat the Nymph rush, I figured "hey why not, I get a guy or two with 5 power every turn and he gets ones with 6 power, so it should be close".  I can only suspect he remembered my joking promise, and that he knew I was the kind of guy that follows through on such promises because that's just how I am, so he switched to mono-light.  I was a little disappointed he didn't trust me enough to run 25 pillars and 6 reflect shields, but some guardian angels and 2 miracles gave the same result.

Never won a cointoss, never drew an Eagle Eye, drew a fog only once, gg. It looks like my luck ran out with getting 3 nymphs in a row from the oracle.
