I lost and there's nothing now that I can do about it.

I didn't have time to test this deck fully, because reasons. I made a stupid mistake and upgraded the dragons instead of quanta. This way, they were just clogging my hand while I could barely play anything. Lost by him having 4 HP left, which I could have won if his fog lets through my weapon or dragon in the last turn.

I started this game by having only 1 quanta in my opening hand. My only luck was that I pretty much countered him.

I tested my monofire against his golem deck a lot, so I was very relieved when I saw his earth mark. Countered again.

Now this is where I shouldn't have gained confidence too early. I totally expected him to use his monoair again, so I went again with my first deck. This time I solved all the problems that this deck had and I was quite sure that I will win. Second-turn nymph ensured me the win, so I was bold enough to waste my deflagration on his fog shield - because a fog shield saved him last time. I couldn't think logically - I didn't even have to hit him with my creatures, because I had gases. -_- I thought that I'll have enough time to regain all the quanta, but i was all wrong. I already had 4 gases up, but I lacked 2 quanta... My stupidity sometimes drives me crazy.

At this point my stupidity DID drive me crazy. I don't know why the hell I chose this deck again, because i was 100% sure he wouldn't use a poison deck. I changed all my Squids to Freezes, but I only drew 1. 2 more would have helped.

Congrats to CCCombobreaker, Jen-i, mrpaper, and Submachine for being our 4 finalists. I'm sorry for Kakerlake - I hadn't wanted anyone to be able to win 3-0 and still be eliminated, especially with an overall 5-1 record. There were just way more 3-2 matches than I expected. I think my next event will simply be double elimination.

There's no need for me to post a Preparation thread with just 4 players left. The absolute deadline is 24 hours from now, but I would really prefer to receive the last Sacrifice ASAP.
