at this point I decided he'd probably try the same deck again, so that meant a pure rush. drew 8 pillar/pends to start, then a trident. EQ'd 2 pillars, then got exploded. Drew a tear, had quanta to spare so I just spammed nymphs.

rush rush rush! immo makes everything faster!
I was kind of lucky that qwerter didn't draw rof. But that's why I had phoenixes so it wouldn't have been a total loss. Probably.

GGs qwerter.

Dumbass me forgot that Dims were banned. Dumbass me paid the price. Justa played a Toadfish/Squid stall.

SoW rush + TUs, justa turned out to play the same deck as Game 1 so pretty easy win

(iirc, forgot to record)
Same thing, expected justa to swap to a UG based deck.
justa played a Trident denial + Nymph rush, managed to remove his Trident, but he managed to EQ 2 of my 4 current pillars, couldn't play any hitters in time

Game 4:

Seraph SoB Rush vs  Immo Rush. Fire mark was the initial plan (against a SoB Air Rush which I didn't have to worry for), swapped out to Light in case of CC.
Essentially I didn't draw RoF in time.

Good games justa, hope this win will help you gain momentum for the upcoming ones :)

Gawd, losing with a 16 card upgrade advantage... Such embarrassment :X

EDIT: Had Immortals Game 1

Submachine 3 - 0 Naesala

A.K.A 0 ups versus 12 ups

Spoiler for Game 1 (WIN):
Dragon OTK

I started the game by drawing 10/13 pillars, which is not good against monodeath rush, but fortunately the Wing Chain worked as expected. ^^ Early OE and purify took care of the dragons and some poison. In the finale, Nae put up SoSac as a last resort, but when it wore off i didn't have enough damage to heal her back over 40 HP, so Sky Blitz ended the game.

Spoiler for Game 2 (WIN):
monofire

Second turn reflective shield decided that i should use all my bolts to CC. However, 3rd turn Fahrenheit made it sure that i always do more damage than she healed each turn. And suddenly, Cloak! Dat Cloak. After the Cloak wore off, everything went smoothly. I had an extra Fahren in hand in case she would steal it.

Spoiler for Game 3 (WIN):
The FUN deck

Where are your steals and miracles? :/ Not if they could help now or something, but it would still give you some time.

Here is a pic of the last turn, where when I expected Nae that she has 2 miracles in her hand, she had 2 more reflectives instead.
Spoiler for Hidden:

Nymph spam, good draw. 7ttw, not really many things Kuro have done. I think I was up against firestall.

Not a bad draw, started okay. Very intersting game, lost by 1 quantum, as I had a Nymph Queen on hand and if I had the quanta to summon her I would have won this one.

Game 3: LOSS

Bad draw on my side. Good quanta bad 2 SoSac on hand with the other two coming in next draws. I thought I had a chance vs Earth/Light stall. But then nymphs happened.... Kuro plays the first nymph. I had 1 dragon and 2 mummies on the field and a skull shield. Wished she would die. She did after 2 or 3 turns, but then ugh 2 other nymphs came into play, toying with my creatures.

Except the first deck I speedbuilt all the others and this one as well. Thought.. I have towers, thus I can summon creatures quickly. So, squids! Excellent hand, 3 squids in the field quickly. Kuro played an immorush but had no chance with my draws in this one.

Game 5: WIN

One good thing with speedbuilding is that you dont even know your own deck! Had an okay draw with 2 squids, and was utterly surprised that I saw both of them get BB'd. Suddenly I was with no cards on hand. 1 chrysaora on the field and 2 useless squids, while Kuro had 1 shrieker there with more coming. I thought this was the end. Suddenly... .... ... Permafrost! I didnt even remember putting one in the deck! This one really saved me there! After that with much CC and frozen shriekers I won easier.

Great games Kuro! Thanks for them.

Great games dark! Drawing 10/15 pillars in our last game was kinda lame though, as well as the awkward no immo-draws for deck 4. I need to get better decks. :/

GGs, ddevans.  We had a couple desyncs, but they didn't ever impact the winners of the game.

Game 1: LOSS.

I never got a reverse time or eternity for his 20+ attack steam machine.  I did draw eternity the turn I was going to lose anyway, because RNG is like that.  He got a permafrost, which pretty much hosed my scarab strategy.

Game 2: WIN

He couldn't get an arsenic before I locked his draws down, and I didn't find my first dune until I had 12 cards left.  It took almost that long for me to find a procrastination shield, and things could easily have gone either way in this one, depending on draws.

Game 3 WIN and Game 4 LOSS:

Game 3 he never got any purifies, so I had an easy time of it.  He didn't get an arsenic either, but it wouldn't have helped him too much; he needed purify.  I'd also had five early poisons but no arsenic, either.  Game 4 he had two early purifies, plus a permafrost blocking my arsenic and I had no chance against that.

Game 5: LOSS

I'd been about to use a monotime ghost/RT rush, but I was browsing the rules looking for the scoring method, and I read the banned line.  Bone wall and ghost of the past banned... oops.  DDevans and I then look back to see if we've used any bone walls, and he's used it twice, but in both the games he lost, and I haven't used any of my decks that have it yet.  I switch decks, but I have to take the bone walls out, and I made some bad choices with the cards I swapped in, and I think it was a pretty bad choice in this matchup for me, anyway.  I get a 1 pend draw (out of 28 quanta) but at least it was in a matchup I was totally screwed in anyway.  We disconnect, and I think I might have a chance when ddevans' AI immediately drops its shard of patience, but a few turns later I fail to produce IQ and the turn I need to miracle, I look at the light nymph in my hand and think, well, miracle is going to drain my light quanta, so I should play that nymph first.  And then I had 10 light quanta left.  GG :p

We disconnect and I missplayed, getting too low in quanta to use miracle, so I lost to the AI.

Took a risk playing RoL/Hope with 4 RoLs. The first time we dc and we both beat the AIs (a pity since the AI I faced couldn't have done things much differently) since it drew the dry spell on the turn I collected enough :aether to squeeze a fractal + dragon. On the replay I got a 0 quanta draw, with just a RoL and tree got a second turn trident, so I just conceded.

We dc and played the AIs. I managed to drag the game until I decked out just for the heck of it (if I had drawn the last bolt one turn earlier I would have OTK'd it)
