RNG strikes again, and it harms both sides, .

game 1 :.... 1 aether pillar draw , i got early arsenic, all 3 creatures , bunch of poison, BUT OH ? no death pendulms/pillars for over 5turns, i had 0% chance to win

game 2: for some reason, i'm blurry about this game , don't remember how it went, damn you headaches.

Game 1: Went well, but xn had a terrible draw with only an aether pillar, and no death quanta. Easy win.
Game 2: Didn't draw the deflags I needed in time, pretty close game, but I knew it was hinging on that draw and never got it.
Game 3: Too much quanta on both sides, I needed either another phoenix early or PU but got neither. Got all my deflags but he went fractal (elite) mummies so it was over from there.

Wow, it seems like death is going to get a good balance in this round.

Seeing aether playing(and losing) the exact same deck twice is somewhat hilarious(are you guys trying to be funny or what?).

Well actually it's a smart move IMO. They know we have at least one fractal deck so it was safe for them to assume we would throw a fractal deck vs them in one matchup at least. They have such a big lead that trading a win and a loss is pretty optimal since we can't afford losses and they can. So basically instead of doing the guessing game and trying to decide where we would put fractal they just doubled up but unfortunately their counter didn't work.

I think the 3 ups for death were the difference between winning Game 2 and losing iirc. I think EP was 1 turn away from winning, but maybe I am mixing this match with UT's.
