I don't know if I'm suposed to be sad because aether won or happy because time lost their pharabow

I'm just happy that a deck I designed in War 4 is still being used, albeit with slight variants due to predictions and vaults.  (no idea if it existed anywhere before that, but it was new to us on team time then; it was built then to counter bonebolt and devtal at the same time from aether)

yes, this deck has been a pain in aether's ass for 3 wars now. Usually the only time we beat it is when we accurately predict it, thus sending grabbow

I can't believe that a simple psiontal can't beat it. Someone explain it please how it beats a psiontal.

depends on the variation. But yes, a monoaether rush can beat this, especially with 9 ups.

But to answer your question more directly, switch 1 card (or 2) with reflect, and poof psiontal counter. The original version was meant to beat poison bonebolt and had purify as a result, same prinicipal here.

Nightmare also gives fractal decks a serious problem if played first. (less room in hand for copies of the fractal target)  Of course, that cuts both ways (a fractal played first will reduce nightmare's effectiveness) but nightmare is way cheaper to play than fractal.

The discord also gives fractal a problem.  Even running over 50% pillars/pends, psiontal needs all the quanta it can muster, and discord takes away valuable quanta.  And yeah, a couple reflective shields would be really easy to splash into here; in war 4, Time didn't do that because the psion card did not yet exist.
