Ugh. I dont want to add fuel to this so dont take it the wrong way but i hate it when people distort the facts.
Higs fractaled the ash, which she would have rebirthed next turn. And since LD only had 1 bonewall in his deck, there isn't much he couldve done to stop them. Did LD have an advantage at that moment? Yes. Does that mean he would have won? Definitely not. Sorry LD.
92 health, 2 wings, spider, plus spider on the draw that I would have held back until shield was gone. I had that game 100 ways to sunday.
If you do the math on what Higs had drawn fire storm. and tha fact she doesnt have the aether quanta yet for dim shield, The bonewall with the cc in his hand would have allowed the bonewall to hold till there was only 1 counter left on the dim shield. by that time higs would be somewhere around ~15 hp. and he would still be at 92. she would have 3 poison + any drawn in the next 2 turns. Using the quanta for dim shield it would have been around 5 turns from desync to see fractal used again. with Higs max damage at 6 x minor Phoenix. 24 damage minus the webbed phoenixs. yes i know you have a deflag but there are 2 wings in his hand. he could have easily lasted past another dim shield(not enough damage through the wings to win in the 3 turns of dim shield stalling). plus the poison would have killed her before it got that far. Saying she had sundials doesnt help either because poison still damages. If that isnt a win, I dont know what is.
@ Higs the AI is stupid, you cant expect the AI to play and hold back cc to fuel bonewall or time shockwaves correctly so you cant really say that as an excuse that the other desyncs were in your favor.
The games were close and a decision was made. I am not fighting that. I just hate how people were saying dim shield would have ended it for LD.
And for those saying we should have contacted a warmaster. I dont remember one being there actively in chat at the time.
