It was quite the even matchup. The one game he won that didn't desynch, he won with 4 HP after Webbing one MP. The one I won where we didn't desynch, I won with about 30 HP. Then we both had two timeouts where I won against AI and he deemed his situation favourable.

Either deck could've won, and it could've been really epic. Oh well.

I would have to agree with LongDong here. Bone Wall, webbed MPs, Wings, Shockwaves, 92 hp. That game should have found it's way to victory for LongDong a hundred ways to Sunday. Why did you give it away LongDong? :l

Good games to the both of you nonetheless. Grats Hogs, lesson learned LongDong? ;)

How am I being a poor sport? By defending my general? By defending the warmaster's decision?

The only point that I ever tried to make was that none of those desyncs could have officially been ruled a win for either side, but LD refuses to see that.

And with that, I'm done posting in this topic.

Not a fan of all this drama personally.
So I'm not going to add to it.
What happened happened, and desynchs are desynchs.
Its shitty, but thats how it goes.

BLARGH!

GGs, aether. Even if we managed to pull this one out, you'd still have an enormous advantage over us, so I don't really think it's worth stressing over. Would've been pretty sweet to give Higs a loss, though  :))

Ugh. I dont want to add fuel to this so dont take it the wrong way but i hate it when people distort the facts.

Higs fractaled the ash, which she would have rebirthed next turn. And since LD only had 1 bonewall in his deck, there isn't much he couldve done to stop them. Did LD have an advantage at that moment? Yes. Does that mean he would have won? Definitely not. Sorry LD.
92 health, 2 wings, spider, plus spider on the draw that I would  have held back until shield was gone. I had that game 100 ways to sunday.
If you do the math on what Higs had drawn fire storm. and tha fact she doesnt have the aether quanta yet for dim shield, The bonewall with the cc in his hand would have allowed the bonewall to hold till there was only 1 counter left on the dim shield. by that time higs would be somewhere around ~15 hp. and he would still be at 92. she would have 3 poison + any drawn in the next 2 turns. Using the quanta for dim shield it would have been around 5 turns from desync to see fractal used again. with Higs max damage at 6 x minor Phoenix. 24 damage minus the webbed phoenixs. yes i know you have a deflag but there are 2 wings in his hand. he could have easily lasted past another dim shield(not enough damage through the wings to win in the 3 turns of dim shield stalling). plus the poison would have killed her before it got that far. Saying she had sundials doesnt help either because poison still damages. If that isnt a win, I dont know what is.

@ Higs the AI is stupid, you cant expect the AI to play and hold back cc to fuel bonewall or time shockwaves correctly so you cant really say that as an excuse that the other desyncs were in your favor.

The games were close and a decision was made. I am not fighting that. I just hate how people were saying dim shield would have ended it for LD.

And for those saying we should have contacted a warmaster. I dont remember one being there actively in chat at the time.

I'm not sure where you get the idea I've used AI stupidity as an excuse for winning. Both of our claimed AI wins are just that: AI wins. x)
An easier factor to use is the results of the legit matches, which I did. But AI did indeed play Shockwaves after Wall, since you seem curious. Solely because it drew them later, of course.

I think you guys are ignoring the fact that this was the 4th desync or so, and Higs had an advantage in at least 2 of the previous desyncs. We could easily argue for those, but it is pointless.
About the timeouts not the last game. The last game you won. No question. The other desync happened with 60+ HP left and pretty much tie game. Too far from the end to tell. The last one, Long is winning by >50 HP with 3 shields.

"@ Higs the AI is stupid, you cant expect the AI to play and hold back cc to fuel bonewall or time shockwaves correctly so you cant really say that as an excuse that the other desyncs were in your favor. "

I never said anything about the last game. "other" desyncs.

Thank you sevs, this would have ended with me as the winner yesterday if someone was there to make the decision when desynch 3 happened.
Anyways if the warmasters are still set on this game going towards Higs then whatever, nothing can be done about it, but if anyone says I lost this, and should have I will tell you your an idoit who can't do simple math.
If anyone says that this choice is final then I see double standards at work here. Teams can get pen's for mistakes in the vault many rounds ago? Never too late to change something.

Also higs I don't believe you even beat the AI.
