All games were pretty intense and stressful. He stole almost all permanents I could play. They probably expected Phase Shields from us. In the first game I just made a bit more damage by the end and Fog didn't work for him very well. In the second, surprisingly, he made more damage. And the third game started quite badly for me, he got early Discord and Lycan, but luckily an Antimatter saved me this time. Good games, Zeru.

As expected from the best player in Elements :)

We expected you to go for a dimensional stall, very low damage is a result of taking a lot steals. What's worse, devourer+discord denial does not work when your opponents has more pillars than non-pillar cards. What's worse, a single Antimatter kills my deck. You deserve this win for pulling off something like this.

Team :entropy simply can't win a coin flip. Enough said. Hard to complain when we fielded such a stupid deck.

Good game Pervepic, not what we were expecting. 6 Entropy cards salvaged from Death in Round 6 that I assumed you converted. Obviously they were hiding in vault along with your Air Nymph until now.

Any win against Entropy is a good win in my book.  Great job Pervepic.

And is that a delicious flying weapon card in that deck, ripe for salvage?

To think the Master of Entropy was felled by a single antimatter--oh the irony!  Congratulations, Pervepic!  Teams :aether :darkness :death :earth :fire :gravity :life :light :time :water and :underworld thank you.

Eh, I don't think it was a coinflip. To me Perve's deck looks better. Gratz Perve, you managed to keep your teem in the War and you did it in style, taking out the Entropy General.

Congrats Perve. This match, and Dogg's have kept air alive, for at least on more round.

And you can't mention the RNG in every single match you lose... It's almost as if team Entropy has started to feel invincible...

Stop quote-mining him. Read the very next sentence, heh. We used a wrong deck and I would need epic luck to win this.

I had no problems with the rest of the sentence. The rest of Sir Valimonts points are all valid, but I dislike the 'coin flip' idea being put in whenever team entropy seems to lose (which admittedly isn't as often as expected), and in this match I think it would be fair to say Pervepic would win more than 50% of the time (which coin flip implies)

However, in general team Entropy have been gracious losers (on the rare occasions),so I don't want to turn this into a rant about sportsmanship, Entropy, or anything else.

If you're going to take issue with a brief, innocuous mention of the RNG I shouldn't have mentioned it. I'm not complaining so much as stating mere fact. I keep extremely accurate statistics on War including a lot of things you probably don't track yourself. "Close" matches, determined in 3 different ways, are part of that. There are three types of listings:

1) Matches that are "close" because the outcome was 2-1 for one team instead of 2-0.
2) Matches that are "close" because the contestants themselves said so in the thread.
3) Matches that when I personally study the decks involved I consider evenly matched, regardless of score.

In all three listings, our team is massively below 50% win ratio. That is why I made that comment.

Summary of most of what I say:

You may not like what I say, and you may not like how I say it. But what I say is accurate.

Anyway there is no reason to complain about RNG here. First of all Pervepic had the better deck. Second of all he had the better deck because he did some very clever salvaging in round 6 and deckbuilding in this round. Third of all we made a mistake in our deck choice, which has tormented me but which I take responsibility for as the team deckbuilder.

I will publish complete statistics on "Close matches" and things like that for you after War. Until then you will have to wait. :)
