Congratulations Kurohami for a match played with skill and nerves of steel.
The first game went as planned ... but not the next two.
In the hour before this match, I played a deck virtually identical to Rastafla's deck (predicted it to within 1 card), and we practiced. We played about 7-8 games. Kurohami always drew 3-4 pendulums, every single game, and had ample Entropy quanta.
However against Rastafla, he was quanta screwed the second two games! The middle game he simply could not bring out anything -- with two pendulums for most of the entire game. I reassured him he would get a good draw in the final game ... and he was quanta screwed again.
Well of course I started losing it in our private chat, cursing the evil luck of team
(more on that later) but Kurohami remained cool as a cucumber and managed to make ends meet with a few pillars in his next turns and intelligently invested quanta.
As for team
, you were an extremely worthy opponent, one which we never underestimated. And it is precisely your skill that makes us happy to see you leave, as we feel our contenders' number has been cut majorly with your exit. As for your luck, I said it before and will repeat: You had an extremely bad set of matchups this round and that's unfortunate. Well played matches and sorry to be the ones to eliminate you.
