Flare had an entropy-earth deck with EQs, discords, drags, shriekers, and aboms. However, this deck was virtually invincible against those perma/quanta controls due to novas and earth mark generating graboids.
Round 1.
Had an awesome starting hand. I was able to put down a lycan and graboid from the start. Flare took out a discord, but didn't do anything. I kinda made a mistake of using a fire quanta on fire spirit's ablaze instead of deflaging his discord, but I won anyways.
Round 2.
a worse start. didn't have a nova and just two fire pillars. As I expected, they got EQed. However, i had four graboids resting in my hand and the Earth mark generating earth quanta to play them. His discord managed to screw me up a bit.... i expected it to give air quanta to play my
hax fog shield, but instead gave me more fire and earth quanta.
When I had two shriekers out, he put out a shrieker and a purple dragon. I rage potioned the dragon and completely outdamaged him.
