Sadly, fate egg didn't play a role in this game, except that I won game 5 because I didn't play it and topdecked an RT that I couldn't have played if I had played the Egg.

Going by memory here:
Game 1: I think my hand was about average, but rastafla seemed to be a bit quanta screwed; my RTs messed him up pretty good.  1-0
Game 2: Hand was about average again here, but rastafla won this time, by quite a bit if I recall correctly.
Game 3: Poor hand on both sides.  Game comes down to rastafla's topdeck; a damage source and he wins, a pillar/pend and he loses.  He draws a pend and I win with 3hp.  2-1
Game 4: Very close game I think, but my summary was pointed out to me to be wrong, so I dunno what happened anymore except I lost :p 2-2
Game 5: My opening hand was 1 nova and no pillar/pend, and I thought I was dead, but I managed to topdeck a couple novas which let me get what I needed out, mostly the hax fog, and I get the win.

GGs; this was my closest war match ever.  All of the other ones I played were very lopsided for one side or the other.

edit: okay seems i can't remember game 4 right,

Game 1 Loss

Got rewinded and had mostly aboms. Pretty decent hand average nr of creatures and pends but being so slowed by rewinds sealed it and teh sheer speed of graboids. Clear victory for dragonsdemesne

Game 2 Win

Lots of qunata and 3 dragons and disc. My dragons ignored fog and i won this so fast in spite of one or two rewinds.

Game 3 Loss

The deciding game. Pretty slow for us both. I was stuck with dragon and disc for ages. Got rewinded and deflagged. But still i played and beat him down I saw only 3 dmg dealing cards all game and he survived by 3 hp. Drew and played pillar upon pillar and pend. Very annoying.

Game 4 Win

Bad quanta draw for dragonsdemesne and i played dragons and dragons. Ignored FOG as usual and got a pretty clear win.

Game 5 Loss

The early novas sealed teh deal and dropping graboid after graboid and chaing rewinds made dragondemesne win convincingly. 1 Of my dragons seamed to hit through every turn but the rest was blocked at all times. My final turn's attack was completely blocked.

Sounds like I missed an awesome match.  It is probably for the best that you played it instead of me.  Nicely done, dd.

It definitely was an awesome match in that it was very tense to play in, at least on my side, but it wouldn't really have mattered who played, because the decks on both sides were so simple to run.  The only two decisions I made that took any kind of skill at all were both involving not playing the fate egg.

In game 3, I topdecked it on the last turn, but since the game depended at that point on what rastafla topdecked (I would have won without the egg if he drew quanta as he did, and lost even with it if he drew a creature) so I didn't play it at all, in the hopes that I could surprise him with it later and keep him wondering what might be in my deck.

In game 5, there was one turn where I could have played the Egg, but I held it in hand, and was rewarded by topdecking a reverse time that I could not have played had I put the Egg down.  Other than those two decisions, anyone would have done exactly what I did given the decisions I faced.  I'm not sure whether I'd have lost game 5 by playing the Egg that turn, but it definitely would have hurt my game to do so.

Oh boy it was intense. Game 3 in particular.

For me there was 2 rules, "play stuff as fast as possible" and "ignore playing abom if you have dragon in hand". Playing aboms when up against rewinds is pointless unless you don't have the dragons in hand. Wasting quanta on aboms is bad when you can drop the rewinded dragon again and again (thanks to saving the quanta from the nonplayed abom) which is far better.

Honestly after the first game i hardly cared what you had after the second game not at all. All i did was hoping that the RNG would keep the rewinds low. They were the danger.

Egg or not that last game wouldn't have mattered. You lead the dmg per turn race with graboids and fog etc.

Your deck was more stable over all. I HAD to topdeck dragons. Interestingly i had both or 1 upped quant source every game in the startinghand and was low on discs.

Yeah, I was a little surprised to see the decklist afterwards.  I thought you had 6 dragons, 2 discords and about 4 abominations, given how many of each you played.  You seemed to have more dragons than abominations in our games (though that was likely due to prioritizing them over abominations) and I think I only saw discord in about 3 games, and one of them I exploded it and you had no replacement.
