Congrats Perve. This match, and Dogg's have kept air alive, for at least on more round.

Team :entropy simply can't win a coin flip. Enough said. Hard to complain when we fielded such a stupid deck.
And you can't mention the RNG in every single match you lose... It's almost as if team Entropy has started to feel invincible...

Stop quote-mining him. Read the very next sentence, heh. We used a wrong deck and I would need epic luck to win this.

I had no problems with the rest of the sentence. The rest of Sir Valimonts points are all valid, but I dislike the 'coin flip' idea being put in whenever team entropy seems to lose (which admittedly isn't as often as expected), and in this match I think it would be fair to say Pervepic would win more than 50% of the time (which coin flip implies)

However, in general team Entropy have been gracious losers (on the rare occasions),so I don't want to turn this into a rant about sportsmanship, Entropy, or anything else.

If you're going to take issue with a brief, innocuous mention of the RNG I shouldn't have mentioned it. I'm not complaining so much as stating mere fact. I keep extremely accurate statistics on War including a lot of things you probably don't track yourself. "Close" matches, determined in 3 different ways, are part of that. There are three types of listings:

1) Matches that are "close" because the outcome was 2-1 for one team instead of 2-0.
2) Matches that are "close" because the contestants themselves said so in the thread.
3) Matches that when I personally study the decks involved I consider evenly matched, regardless of score.

In all three listings, our team is massively below 50% win ratio. That is why I made that comment.

Summary of most of what I say:

You may not like what I say, and you may not like how I say it. But what I say is accurate.

Anyway there is no reason to complain about RNG here. First of all Pervepic had the better deck. Second of all he had the better deck because he did some very clever salvaging in round 6 and deckbuilding in this round. Third of all we made a mistake in our deck choice, which has tormented me but which I take responsibility for as the team deckbuilder.

I will publish complete statistics on "Close matches" and things like that for you after War. Until then you will have to wait. :)
